Aha, yeah i'm a little outdated as to what is happening around here.. Last i was around it was only PR working on it, i think :sad:
So there's 3 now? who?

You are saying that until there is no full time modeler in your team, land is not going to happen?

Unless we can find third-party models for land units, that's essentially the case. The problem is, none of my current sources do land models. I will start advertising after v1.1 is out though and see who we can find to help.

And what would v1.2 add to the mod?

Depends what we fit into v1.1. I can't really say yet.

Holy moly. I'm really glad you and PR have decided to work together on this. I don't think we could ask for a better team in 3 members. It looks like mod will be taken to mind-boggling heights of detail and realism.

I can't tell you how refreshing this was to read. Thank you again guys for giving the franchise the consideration it deserves. Consider us all teased. ;) :sad:

Thanks for the offer, but our main deficit right now is modeling (including skinning/texturing). I'm aware of the open license models on FF, but that's really not sufficient to produce an entire release with.

This may have been said somewhere else, but can i just ask when v 1.1 is likely to come out.
This is a great mod and love playing it, but one fault that i would really like to see fixed is the fact that in GC, when i am playing against the empire, after only playing for a short time, they already have fleets consisting of 4 or 5 super star destroyers. And this is all that they end up building. Very quickly, all you are fighting are SSD's and all you can really do is build fleets consisting of K-wings.
Keep up the good work, as i am eager to see how it progresses.

I might work up a couple of land models and email them to ya, dont really have a ton of time with the holidays approaching, but I will see what I can do.

I can't wait for 1.1. I have to say there is one thing that bothers me. The empire and rebels can build a few similar units, such as the Nebulon-B and Corellian Corvette. Is there going to be a change in this? Also for the emperors final upgrade, will he get the Eclipse? I'm sorry if any of these questions was asked before and I would appreciate every answer

Looks great guys, glad to see this is still alive and kicking. I'm deeply involved in LOTRO, but this mod keeps me interested in RTS- looking forward to seeing it all.

The turbolasers are now heavy turbolasers. That's pretty much it, but it's a big difference.

Have you tried contacting SI from FF forums?

No, maybe I will after this release. Can't really worry about Land right now though.

Well it's either:

A) Give him a very very similar ship for the sake of trying to achieve canon
or
B) Have PR spend valuable time coding the Eclipse full-out, and maybe getting a new model in the process, to make a ship very very similar to the Sovereign-class, and delay the release of 1.1.

Choose wisely. One will lead to your doom.
