This is my long thought out list of favorite movies. Feel free to post yours too.

1. Donnie Darko - Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?
2. Fight Club - I am Jack's smirking revenge.
3. The Big Lebowski - THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK A STRANGER IN THE ASS!
4. Snatch - D'ya like dags?
5. Reservoir Dogs - Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy, or are you gonna bite?
6. Pulp Fiction - The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men.
7. Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb - Ten females to each male.
8. A Clockwork Orange - Lets make things nice and sparkling clear. This sarcasm, if I may call it such, is very unbecoming of you oh my brothers
9. Lord of The Rings Trilogy - What about second breakfast?
10. Star Wars (4, 5) - Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you?
11. No Country For Old Men - Let me ask you a question: if the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?
12. Burn After Reading - I thought you might be worried...about the security...of your shit.
13. In Bruges - You retract that bit about my cunt fucking kids this instant!
14. Hot Fuzz - Is it true that there is a place in a man's head that if you shoot it, it will blow up?
15. The Matrix - There is no spoon.
16. Monty Python and The Holy Grail - She turned me into a newt!
17. V For Vendetta - I am an idea, and idea's are bullet proof.
18. Garden State - It's amazing how much of my life has been determined by a quarter inch piece of plastic.

My top ten:

1) Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Come on, it's just fucking awesome. It has everything I like about films.
2) Full Metal Jacket. Stanley Kubrick's best work, if you ask me.
3) The Departed. Infernal Affairs was also very good, but this was better. Leonardo di Caprio's finest hour.
4) Snatch. For obvious comedic reasons.
5) Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I count this as one, but still. Awesome trilogy.
6) Mean Machine. The English version with Vinny Jones. Absolutely hilarious if you're English or understand English humour.
7) The Big Lebowski. Just a really funny film, and well acted and produced. Got it all.
8) American History X. One of the few films to be both seminal and awesome. Ed Norton FTW.
9) Fight Club. This is one the few films for which I would use the word 'sick' as a positive adjective. It just seems very appropriate. Also, Meatloaf.
10) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Shut up, you loved it too.

The Matrix Trilogy: Don't worry about the vase.
V for Vendetta: Very philosophical, similar to the Matrix in this regard. It's a personal-favorite topic.
Star Wars: Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try. "Hear you over the sound of how awesome I am, I cannot."
Kung Fu Hustle: ROFL
Hellboy and Hellboy 2: Good concept with pretty good screenplay.
Wanted: While many things (bullet-time, refusal to believe what you've learned) were borrowed from the Matrix, good nonetheless.
Saving Private Ryan: I had an eye orgasm.
Lord of the Rings Trilogy: See the above.
Undercover Brother: ROFL
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanimo Bay: ROFL: Fuck you, donuts are awesome! ... Don't make me come down there and beat your cyclops ass!
Constantine: ZOMG.

And many more. These are in no particular order, BTW. Meh, maybe the first 3 are.

2. Snatch--See above.
3. Spaceballs-- Mel Brooks is second only to Guy Ritchie. "Why didn't anybody tell me my ass was so big?"
4. Blazing Saddles-- See above. "Alright, we'll take the niggers and the chinks. But we WON'T take the Irish!"
5. Robin Hood: Men in Tights-- See above. "Man, white man can't jump!"
6. Shoot 'Em Up-- "That's a six-shooter. I counted six shots. You've blown your load."
7. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy-- Isn't it odd that you have to go to number 7 on my list before you get one that isn't a twisted comedy?
8. Star Wars-- The old ones, not the new filth.
9. Saving Private Ryan-- It's a classic.
10. War-- Jet Li kicks ass. And chops people in half, which is an added bonus.

Damn, I forgot to put Men In Tights on my list. That really is a brilliantly funny film. There's video of me on Youtube somewhere performing the song, and a techno remix too.

EDIT: I just realised as well that I have left out two of my favourite films through some bizarre omission of brain function. They are:

The Usual Suspects. Pure essence of 'God damn...'
The Boondock Saints. Irish accents, vigilantism, blood, humour, this film has it all. And then some. I would recommend this several times over. And then some.

• Phantom of the Opera - fan-bloody-tastic. The musical is even better.
• The Green Mile - just wonderful.
• Shawshank Redemption - also wonderful.
• The Prestige - David Bowie + Michael Caine = winning combination.
• The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - marvellous Tolkein grandeur.
• Walk The Line - "As sure as night is dark and day is light"

Those are the ones that I particularly liked. Of course, I like Monty Python, but the ones up there are my favourite.

I'm going to have to add to this list now. I've just had a very busy film-watching couple of weeks, because I had an essay to write and a lot of lying about doing nothing to catch up on. Therefore, allow me to add the following to my list.

Memento. Somebody somewhere else on Revora mentioned it and I downloaded it. It's brilliant. It genuinely is.
Gangs Of New York. God, what a film. I have no idea why it took me so long to get round to watching it, but I'm very glad I did.
The Prestige. I'm very surprised I left this off my original list. I was very impressed by Christian Bale's ability to hold down the lower-class London accent.
