I promote what mods I'm involved in and some times add a quote from something and sneak a link on it, You should not bitch about sigs if you have and use a small screen, of course its going to take up a 800x400 res
Also, me personally I think 200px height is to constricting, I would allow up to 300 in height, with a max of 2 quotes at the most.

Good thing your not in charge...Does it even matter? I say let people have signatures that take up half a page if they want. Just don't let them be wide.
Say you have limited internet access, and you want to read a topic, and you see tons of users have HUGE sigs, and it takes you 10 minutes to finish loading the pictures, then you can read, and it's not worth it...
Not everyone has a large screen, fast internet, or other things that come into play here... Revora should be all-kinda user-friendly, not big screen fast internet user friendly..

My sig is big yeah but it's not half a page of mindless imagry it's a few quotes from mythbusters and if you think these sigs are big i've seen some massive ones and i use a horrible Laptop and i don't complain to deaf ears.

Ever heard of those things called "comma" and "period"?
Anyway, it's no use comparing your (or anybody's) signature to that of other members or forums. You simply shouldn't waste any space, period.
