New GUI built off Chromes, tab control like Chromes, most-frequently visited, etc.
Its essentially seems like Chrome with Apple branding and visual flashyness, and Safari's old features as well as some new ones like the ability to select font-rendering, history search, coverflow, etc.

Anyone else given the Safari 4 beta a spin yet? Its like a non-open-sourcified Chrome.

I totally agree...
I use opera and firefox, both at the same time, one per monitor... Don't ask why, I don't know...

Just a little feature I thought I'd mention for others with slow net, or those who have to watch their bandwidth. Just a pity the uni proxy doesn't like Opera, or I could be saving heaps on Internet credit...

Overall it looks like a Chrome copy to me and I found the fact that they stuck the tabs to the window border is very annoying. I realise that it somewhat makes sense and saves space, but I believe the stacking of program windows something the OS' window manager should handle, not the application. Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it, but I didn't find it cool to handle.

I have to say I can't notice a massive amount of difference between firefox, safari and crome, but I would say they are all better than IE. Safari 4 is my favourite despite some annoying bugs in the current beta just because I'm a sucker for the visual flashiness and the top sites feature really is useful even if it is stolen

I've tried Opera. It seems a high quality piece of software, but it just didn't appeal to me. Also, Firebug (and Webdev Toolbar) are the best
I'm also using Chrome to put Google Reader in an "application window", which means I'm also using it for some browsing, since it opens links from Reader in Chrome. I've customised Firefox to appear like chrome (through a Chrome skin, toolbar reordering and shortcuts for search engines).
Firefox does use a lot of memory, but it makes it faster. RAM is much cheaper than CPU power, so that's good, IMO.
