This was an abandoned concept from the movies and I think the term was used in the books. Its basically a wet Balrog and emphasis the shadow aspect rather than its flames. I'm not really sure how it could be used in the game, for good or worse, but I think it would be interesting to see.

you could attempt to do a re-skin, and see how it looks although you'd also hafto re-skin the flam sward and wip aswell

Unfortunately I'm not a skinner but I could do some concept art or try and find some.
And yeah its kinda unnecessary but it still would be something to be considered once the mod is basically finished and very little details are being added in.
