Lego-less? OH NO!
Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

My best hopes is that Ubisoft buy the license.
And my wishes for BFME3:
- Better graphics,like DoW2
- BFME1 castles,unit size coming back.
- New campaign,Fellowship,War in the North,South
- Remove Angmar, add Harad and Rhun with Elves,Gondor,Dwarfs,Rohan,Mordor,Isengard and Goblins.
- More LOTR feeling

Also Warner Bros. just doesn't seem like a good studio to pull off a game like this:
-TT will not be making a LotR lego title for a couple more years as a developer had recently announced that a Harry Potter and Indiana Jones 2 Lego games were now in development.
-Monolith makes horror games that make you want to sleep with the lights on. Since when has LotR ever had giant horror moments like Condemned and F.E.A.R (Not to mention Monolith's quality has severely dipped in the past years).
EA should keep the license:
-They own Bioware, the only Western Developers who can actually make a very GOOD RPG. Warner Bros doesn't have the people to make an RPG that can match the creators of KotOR, Mass Effect, and Neverwinter Nights.
-EA can make a good game. They've proved it in the past with its other LotR games. It surprises me how 3 bad releases can turn everyone on EA when they have in the past provided some very good and fun games to play. Every company and every franchise has a rough patch (Ex: Spyro, Sonic, Final Fantasy)
EA may like ripping people off for more money but really, what company doesn't. Capcom is releasing a Competitve mode for RE5 for $5 a week after the game launches, SF4 makes you pay for costumes to unlock them in-game, Lucas-Arts makes you pay $5 just to play with different skins in SW:TFU. Everyone does it and don't think one bit that Warner Bros won't try to do the same.
EA should keep the license.

Why three bad games?
I personally don´t consider BFME2 as a bad game, it´s quite good actually. Is there any bad game other than Conquest and RotWk?

Lore wise, less so...
I loved BFME, it's one of the most fun games I've ever played..
BFME2 wasn't as good, and RotWK was just bad... But they were okay games, but crap at lore
I recently tried Conquest on my brothers computer... yeah, bad game
The 4th Age version 0.8 has been released: Link

I honestly don't think the fact that they have bioware matters. The fact is that Bioware didn't do anything for LotR. The 3rd Age was also a rather displeasing RP. KotOR is my favorite game, but T3A was nothing like it. The system in T3A is one in which you just have to press a button and your person lunges forward and attacks once. KotOR has your person right up there, actually clashing weapons.EA should keep the license:

Anyways, LotR just isn't for E.A. They should stick with Star Wars and Mass Effect. A little off topic: Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to be an AWESOME MMO.

I actually think this is a bad thing, actually it could potentially be a nightmare. Yes EA had some giant screw-ups with the LotR license but it has had some very good games. The Two Towers, Return of the King, The Third Age, and BFME. 2 games and one Expansion Pack should not hide the fact that EA had made some good LotR games.

Yes EA is awesome BFME 1/2 were both good who cares if theres bad grafics.

Not nessasaraly true in my opinion. i love lotr conquest its very fun. Fire arrows? Flameing swords? Aragon summoning army of the dead? How can you not like lotr conquest? Exsept the fact that its extreamly short.
besides do you have it on x-box 360? its probaly better. (it was worth the extra 10 bucks)

Never mind that sometimes we don't agree what exactly is Tolkien's vision, but it's pretty unanimous on Conquest: NO!

I played Conquest on my friend's 360. Even the skirmish mode was disappointing as a hack-and-slash. It seriously would have been better as a mod for Battlefront 2. He bought it even after I showed him the reviews and told him a million reasons not to buy it.
