Hello All,

1.06 has been out a little more than a week and already we've had nearly 2000 downloads. Thank you for helping to make it a successful release, for all the great feedback, and keep reporting those bugs The mod is also up at www.gamespot.com as another mirror if you have access there.

With everything being so crazy the past few weeks, I thought I'd take a little time to relax and do something fun, so sit back and enjoy a little video:

A few things of interest for RJ Players. We are working on setting up a ladder for RJ, so keep your eye here for more information regarding this. Also, a tournament will be coming in the near future as well. Lastly, we're working on all the bug fixes & balance items as well as a few new things for RJ's next release, which my guess will be in about 1-2 months. I've cleared out nearly all the bugs that were causing the mod to fail when it was contained in .big files. What does this mean for players? The next release should be the last release where you will have to download the entire mod. After that we'll have patches available, similar to EA's patches that will only contain the ini code, maybe a maps big file, and new art items. This should help everyone with far smaller downloads in the future.

Alright, I've done my research on these easter eggs...
And heres what i've come up with.

Also, they are stuff that normally are not in the playable game, but you have to unlock them just for fun. Imagine you have to build 4 different units/structures with each of them having a hidden keystroke that unlocks a portion of the easter egg. Then you have to build the unit and know the correct keystroke(s) to activate it. Some of them might be a boost (like a mounted Aragorn), but others could be stricly visual. (Playing mordor and the easter egg is switching gandalf model out for the witchking, etc.)

Each one of them I'm adding in game - you won't have to change any ini's to get them to work. Just have to know how to unlock them. I'll also be tying them to the CaHs enabled. If you enable CaHs the easter eggs will be enabled.

To give you an idea of the type of eggs I've been thinking about, I've always referenced doing an Aragorn mounted on a purple scorpion and other crazy nonsense so I thought I'd show Aragorn's mount.

I have a feeling this Aragorn on a scorpion is in for sure

Now for Sauron and the lollipop, that definitely needs Tom Bombadil's animations I'd say

As for enabling them, for now they will be linked to CaHs as stated, but I might try to see if there is anything that can enable them. I also want to try to balance them against each other and have the roughly the same number on each faction.

And we know this one Tom and Sauron will be there next release...

I was thinking now, that it might be quite cool if we set a riddle with the next public release, and the keystroke to unlock the easter eggs is the answer to the riddle.

And I would really really love a riddle.
Hey a riddle fits in with lore! "riddles in the dark" remember?
someone who's good with words and wits make a riddle and lets start solving!!!

that video makes my day everytime i watch it you should show then the demonstration of dancing sauron robb the music in that one was so fitting
