Well, I think that Sindarin is designing the Units in the way he imagines them, and he gave a satisfying explanation about why.
@Lauri:
So Nertea wasn't right with his post?No... no it isn't
Well you've got one thing right. As I recall, Feanor wasn't much of a team player in war, [...]

Actually, even by the third age they were only wearing chain and scale armor. No plate armor, much unlike the movies.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

It's not so much a question of how skilled he was, but whether the elves in LOTR were like the elves in Warcraft. It's just a difference of opinion - if you like it the way it is, don't bother listening to the naysayers. The skin is good technically, we're just not fond of the design .
If the great Nertea write in my topic i'm honored (really)! :-)
Tnx again for all support...but the only thing that i don't understand is this...someone talk about film someone talk about books...this is only a game...nothing else..
Warcraft...can be...
I'm not a Warcraft fan...the only Blizzard Game that i like is Diablo...but this is another story...
I have taken Noldor's armor for base-example and i have reinforced it...the concept is simple...the movements (like legolas) movies-related makes the other things in my immagination...It is for this reason that some comments or reply are without sense...("impale himself" or other...)
Anyone is free to explain any kind of opinion but with some kind of logic idea...(example: "i like it, u can only reduce the bade size?" "yes i can")
But don't tell me that this is a realistic game or realistic story...this is Tolkien (the GREAT Tolkien), is a fantasy world...and this is a fantastic game.
Nertea... u're a great tnx for all.

Do it again and I'll smite you.
Anyway. What we're all trying to say is that your concept is terribly dysfunctional. Meaning, not realistic. Therefore not usable.. if you like it that much use it, but this is my input on it.

Why are you starting this topic over again?
There was everything said, what was needed to be said. It was all cleared.

The blades do look like they are a bit much, I think small blades on the arms would be suitable but the shoulder ones look pointless from an armour point of view unless he enjoys tackling his enemies. No-one would put in extra heavy blades without some real purpose because it will jsut slow you down. Maybe have a special ability where he uses the ones on his arms so they are a bit more than just decorative.
