I can tell one or all three of you what ideas/concepts i had brewing, if you want, but really you are free to do this however you want, you dont have to stick to anything i had started.

I'd suggest, SWG, that you PM your ideas to all three at the same time in as clear a format as you can manage, and then they can ask you questions if there's anything they don't understand. That's normally how these takeovers go.

Well, done(actually, it was done last night) so any questions or whatever you 3 have feel free to ask, otherwise you can start with the take over.

If Mike and Dur are ok with this, I think we can begin WoW again.

I'm a-ok with the idea, and a more in-depth plot would be desirable.

(I know, I'm a picky man, looking for good plots, and hating plotless games/RPs. )

SWGedit: dude, spoilers. Unless all three of you have decided not to use that idea of mine, dont go blabbing them out to everyone. Pm cas and mike about that sort of stuff, not here where everyone can look

Tell you what, as I'm currently indefinitely procrastinating against the prospect of writing several essays, I'll set you up a background if you give me the factions you want to be involved. I'll even come up with some of the names for you. Consider it my gift to WoW. :evgr:

Oh, and the Chalsidii don't hate the Rakbi particularly. We're just a rather xenophobic race, that's all.

The Rakbi, however, hate the Chaldisii. The Rakbi hate everyone, including each other, unless the other person is a member of their own Clan. Clan ties are ferocious and unbreakable. Only the threat of outside forces has bonded the Conglomerate into a (somewhat) cohesive whole.

So, really, neither of us are in any way suitable for large-scale alliances. The Rakbi hate everyone and trust nobody, while the Chalsidii have nothing but contempt for the rest of the universe, with the sole exception of the Caenophar, who they revere pretty much as gods, but not enough to let the Caenophar walk all over them. Only enough to make us treat them with something verging on respect.

Yikes, well the Astrum are not like your races (they only hate someone if they give them a reason to).

The Confederates are pretty big isolationists.

The Fonai people are willing to trust those who seek peaceful relation with them.
Even those outsiders require time to gain Fonai trust.

But it seems that almost every race in WoW don't trust outsiders.
I wonder what result it is going to be.

It is natural for a group of individuals not to trust outsiders.

and yes mike_ some of the races will use this mistrust as a reason to start war :p

Heh, the Chalsidii don't need a reason to start a war. The mere fact that other people have planets is reason enough.

That's not particularly intelligent, especially if they intend to fight the Rakbi, who's primary war strategy involves lots and lots of civilian deaths (on the other side, preferably). Since we've got less-than-exemplary space fleets and quite destructive planet-to-space and space-to-planet weapons, it only follows that the Rakbi fight a defensive battle while searching for the origin of their attackers, then clearing out the root cause.

On a side note, I'd say that there are plenty of planets to go around, and I see no reason why the Chalsidii would ever want a Rakbi planet. They're almost entirely ocean, which makes it a tad bit difficult for an air-breathing race to effectively utilize the planet.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm ready to get started.

EDIT: This is mind, I'm now going to start it up with the first post of WoW: The Next Generation :p details will be included inside the first post. Other moderators - if you aren't happy with it, PM me or Edit as needed. So long as I'm aware of what's going down.

We need others to make prologues, because I'm thinking about multiple prologues leading to the beginning of the real thing, like a Climax.

EDIT: Vort, since SWG has told me and probably others through PM that he is officially (according to him) not under control of this RP, then would you mind changing me, mike_, and Casojin as running this?

Moderator powers set. I've left SWG up for the moment, just until this has settled in for the long haul.

Ravnin, I had no intention of crossing the Rakbi. Your homeworlds will be safe from me, and, to be honest, we could happily cohabit them if you stick to the sea and I stick to the land. The Chalsidii, coming as they do from a mostly desert world, are not great fans of the ocean.
