Im not from the modding team but I really hope they see this.

My idea is to add the lindon warriors to the arnor faction. They would be buildable through the elven barracks after an alliance with the elves. I thought this would be really cool becuase it would allow you to play a whole second age game, and it would be even more fun to play a second age wotr, and you could play multiple missions useing the last alliance.
They could work very much like the rohan elves. They would have a weapon toggle between swords and bows. I imagine them looking like the Rivendell warriors before armor upgrade. After armor upgrade they would look like the noldor. And of course they would have the available purchase of arrow and sword upgrades. To balance them out they could be a high price and high command point cost.

(I thought they may be easy to make since they would use previously made skins, toggles and upgrades)

Canonically, Lindon should not be in, let alone cost more.

Lindon does not equal Rivendell... Lindon was on the other side of Arnor, hundreds of miles away. And what do you mean canonically, CIL? That's what you say about everything you don't like: it doesn't match up with the canon. Well, it does. Mithlond and Lindon were closely allied (they counted as the same country, basically) and they would have sent troops to aid Arnor. I think that the Lindon Warriors are a great idea, although they might not be balanced. If they worked sort of like Rohan's Elven Warriors, they wouldn't overpower the faction IMHO. In the same way, they wouldn't have to have a high cost, and you'd still be able to upgrade their weapons. Plus, having the Second Age look in skirmish would just be awesome.

IMO, if anything, there should be less Elves in Arnor, not more. The Elves in Arnor should be restricted to Mitlond Archers, Spearmen of the Havens, and Rivendel Riders (+ Glorfindel and maybe a shaved Cirdan).

Why shaved? In the last chapter of Return of the King, he was described as "very tall, and his beard was long, and he was grey and old." He's keeping the beard.

id like to see bazillions of those in the LA campaign, but for skirmish? OP, OP, and OP.
Noldor warriors are hell enough.

Sorry about the shaved thing. I just figured that since he was an Elf, he wouldn't have a beard. ;) :crazed:

I agree with Yoda, if anything, they would fit in Arnor best.

Darn, I didn't read his post enough... I meant in the first place that they should be put into Arnor, so that's why my post may have seemed disjointed. I only read part of his post, missed the capital "R" in Rivendell, and assumed that he meant they should be added to Arnor. :crazed: Sorry for any confusion I may have caused... and sorry CIL for chewing you out. I didn't realize he said they should be added to Rivendell and not Arnor. ;) Welllllllll... they should be added to Arnor... ;)

I should have been more clear. I did mean to say added to the Arnor faction but thinking elves I said Rivendell ;) But at least everyone else thinks if they were added it should be to the Arnor faction. I just think it would be really cool to be able to play a second age wotr ;) and it would be perfect if they did them the same as the Rohan elves. They would just need to look like the nolder after upgrading the armor
