That's a little complex though. Also, once their actually in the battle, they probably wouldn't have all those horses with them.

IMO the Greeks and Romans should be counted as one, and chosen for the following reasons:OK we have a tie Vikings and Greece next vote can decide it.
- The mod would be more interesting, if it had a central theme, i.e. some historic battles, which means it should be restricted in time and space (geographical area)
- Following this logic, the choice of enemies for the vikings would be limited to peoples living in Northwestern Europe 700 to 1100 A.C. So, the "Viking Theme" would have less options for expanding the theme than:
- "The Greek/Roman Theme" - Greeks and romans are rather similar to each other in a number of ways, and both the span of time (roughly 500 B.C. to 500 A.C.) as well as the choice of many other possible 'historic' enemies (in the Mediterranean area), would give more options for the second and third factions etc. (for those dreaming of a multi-faction AoEII-style game based on the Sage-engine *))
Good idea. I voted 'Null Vote' - Given such a new poll, I'll vote for the Romans! Why don't you reset the poll without Rome? It would probably be more fair.

Very good remarks! I agree!... make the whole thing simple in theory, but deep in design is what I'd suggest.
