nice idea, but doesnt that defeat the object of melee attacking? i mean, fear is good when escaping, but its tedious when attacking and then chasing after them. wouldnt it be disadvantageous against elite archers which can hit you while you are focusing chasing after the melee units?
its a nice idea, but i would probably consider changing it from him melee attacking them to a magical projectile that damages and makes them flee from where the damage occurs. either that, or give him a power to compliment this "disadvantage".
i like the idea, just thinks it contradicts its sole purpose.
