when in a dream I should go down the stairs, but I am staying on the same level in the air even without hover shoes , something doesn't fit there... then I know it's just a dream (after few moments I usually wake up)

I've heard being above or below sea level causes dreams like that, especially when you move from one major elevation to another. If that's true, Kenyans must have horrible night terrors.
