Does the shortcut key have anything to do with it? That's one of the fields in the property's box

Double check where you installed it.

What you may have done is ended up with C:/RJROTWK1_06/RJROTWK1_06 if you extracted it using the wrong method.

Make sure that in the first folder, you have all the folders (art, bases, data etc) not another RJROTWK folder.

I hate to see you give up  If you could take a screenshot of your target and the c drive we'd be able to help you a lot more.

Maybe this screen shots can bring some light to this matter but I not so sure:
first is content of winrar file downloaded on my comp,
2nd in line is destination of the extraction of winrar file
3rd is shortcut for mod in default destination C: and so on
4th is loaded same old game and its upper right corner
5th is properties box of the mod shortcut

I hope that this will help you. :p , :p

i checked the application data and found battle for gondor big file which i cuted and pasteed to desktop
and removed some unsuccessful mod arcade edition from the application data. i also attempted
to cut and paste the application data to desktop but that haven't work well at all. when it cames to
game i did try to run it again but even with these adjustments it still plays original game.

now was this of any help? :p

Yes, your destination for the unpacked folder is wrong. So, the fourth screenshot. You want it to go to just c:\, and NOT \programs\electronic arts\rotwk, or whatever. Just plain C:\

i redone the thing as you suggested and while directed my destination folder to
C:\Documents and Settings\ followed by my name of course\Desktop\RJ_RotWK_1_06.
the result of it was the same as if i haven't change anything. is there any hope left Yoda? :p
in case there is no hope left i shall give this mod my final farewell.

Yes, it's still wrong :)

It needs to be just c:\, like this:

Just extract it to C:\, without any other path after c:\ :p

Use C again
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Actually, I thought the audio went to program files? That's where mine is, anyway, in

C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king

It doesn't really matter I believe, the game loads them anyway.
