as the title says, I'm raising a toast to Xeno, or Shineon, or even Richard as some of you might know him

he was for a long time, a very good freind of mine, he pulled me back from the brink atleast once when I was depressed, just by being a good listener. I know he was also a model member of this community for a long time, working on several projects, doing cameos, and other related activities in the tiberium sun and RA2 modding communities. He has had a posotive affect on alot of us, and I'd dearly like to raise a toast to him for that.

Early this morning, last night, or even yesterday depending on where in the world you are, Xeno lost his battle with canser.

Rest in Peace mate

It was a privilege to have known you, Xeno. You had great taste in hats. Rest in peace.

Terrible news indeed.

I can't say I knew him very well, we only communicated a few times over the forums, but I'd like to join in on the toast as well.

Rest in Peace.

Were I holding a glass, I would raise it.

The news has stunned me for a moment - the irony behind learning of a death on a day when you celebrate your own life does not escape me.

I didn't know him well, on the interwebs or IRL, but he was a good man from what I had seen.

Rest in Peace.

Oh, hell.

Xeno, if there was ever a person undeserving to die, it was you. Reading back on your topics, I don't think I've ever met a more selfless and inspiring individual. I'm so sorry, and I hope beyond words that there's some sort of afterlife and you're heading towards it.

I had little to no contact with him, but he sounded like a very good person. Might he rest in peace. Godspeed his soul.

I also did not know him, but from what I've read he seemed like a very nice person and had a good sense of humor.

Rest In Peace, Xeno.

This has just destroyed my day. :good: And the sad thing is, today I was thinking of contacting him to see how he was doing.

How did you find this out?

BTW* If this is a joke I will fly to Australia and beat the piss out of you.

one of his freinds contacted me... and if you honestly think I'd joke about this mad then I'm seriously insulted.

but fair honesty I keep hoping he will turn up0 and say, hey wtf or something, it's just so, I dunno, surreal, I thought he was getting better....

Wow...

I've never encountered something like this before. I'm another who did not know Xeno well, but i did certainly see him around here. Its somewhat shocking to hear that someone that you have met, even over a forum, is dead.

Rest in Peace mate... Rest in peace.

Not really knowing Xeno, I'm just going to say Rest in Peace. However, would it be an idea to compile the (decent) comments from this page into a nice document to give to his family? Maybe they won't care, but maybe they will and be touched.
