Shine on you crazy diamond...

(there is a story about us chatting about life and everything some years back) We talked about deep things, why people do what they do and why what happened to him happened. So I said to him, "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" because we both loved Pink Floyd.

Next thing I knew, Shine On Productions. I'm really hurt by this news that I only saw tonight. I'm stunned. He was so smart, kind, and deep.

He was a good human being. Revora has to me become: a history of lost friends, blunders, old friends, and emptiness.

I'm gonna miss you old friend...

Seems I always find out about things a little late.

I don't have a glass nearby, but I can raise my cup of early morning coffee. The Guild and many of its members (myself included) have a lot to thank you for over the years. Rest in peace, man.

Good Christ... I hadn't the faintest clue of this until I decided to come and lurk for a bit today, for nostalgia's sake. When I saw this, I absolutely had to post: I feel terrible. Xeno was such a nice chap; everything said about him in this thread is true and then some about his character. It was an honor to have known him, even in passing.

This actually brought a tear to my eye. Rest in peace, mate, and hopefully there's something nicer beyond for you to be enjoying.

I never really knew ye. But, ye shall not be forgotten. (And I found this out this late too.)

I lay a forum flower at Richard's grave. I was thinking of you. It's been over a year now and I'm glad we still have this thread as a place I can go to when I miss you. Shine on you crazy diamond...

I don't know why I still want to add him. I wanted to add him 1 day before I heard he passed away. Its simply weird.

Tho I understand you. Life is sometimes so short.

It's been a year already? Wow.
A few weeks ago I moved house again. Couple of days ago I was rummaging through an old box and found a passport photo of myself, Ash, Richard and a couple others who never came here crammed into the photo booth.

Damn man, I had totally forgot about that picture. My copy got lost when my wallet fell down a drain. :(

Good memory. It's hard to believe it's been so long...

Got hit by a wave of nostalgia today, been going through a few of my old online haunts, Revora obviously being one of them, and came across this old topic. Thought it would be appropriate to give a tribute to an old friend so anyway, again I raise a toast in honer of a man who simply did not deserve his fate.

So here Rich, I'll raise a glass of the finest whiskey I can get my hands on. (which happens to be a bit of johnny walker green, no idea I still had that, lol) Thanks mate for good memories.

Me and my girlfriend were talking about Rich not so long ago...we actually first met as a result of me going to Peterborough to meet up with him when I was still at uni.

We just thought...if it weren't for Rich being such a great guy we would never have met and consequently would never have got together. Another thing to be grateful to Rich for. :good:

I think we probably all have a story about Xeno, or atleast anyone who knew him, he really was a great bloke.

and phil, I might take you up on that offer. I'm not sure how long I'll be around but I'd rather wear an old comfortable pair of shoes then a pair of el-cheapo's I grabbed to get around the no guest posting thing.

True, he really was a great guy. I think of him from time to time, had a lot of fun meeting him and spending time with him. He was always willing to help others. It's a shame he didn't get much time to live and enjoy life.

Sorry to bring this up again but

I was just sitting here thinking about Richard and just remembering everything good about him all the things he ever did and how he helped a lot of us through tough times,
He will always be in my memories and I will never forget such an amazing, kind and friendly guy.

Rest well my friend.
