all you gotta do is dig more rock off it and mount it on your cave wall like a BOSS

I'm not going to risk anymore damage to the fossil beyond cleaning it with like a toothbrush. Plus that thing is heavy, I'm doing to need some heavy duty stuff to mount it

is it a full fossil? with both sides intact?
if your skilled enough and resourceful, you could chip more rock off its sides carefully and then give it a flat side and halve it for one killer book-end or ornament

For the most part. Both sides are there, but you can see a chunk missing in the photo.
I just measured it, and it has an 18 inch diameter.

Fuck, thats really nice size
if you could machine and cut them and turn them into an art piece.. just wow
just hope its not fractured and since its your first and only, you don't want to do it hap-hazardously
anyway im just getting ahead of myself, what are your plans for it?

*First anywhere near this size
Honestly. I'm not going to touch it beyond cleaning it with a tooth brush, I just don't want to risk any damage. I'm just going to find a spot for it and keep it on display. Somewhere.

Good ef'ing grief... Blizzard has such a horrible fanbase. It literally makes me speechless every time I read comments on their Facebook pages. They simply posted that they will be announcing Diablo stuff at E3, and their comments gets spammed with stuff:
"I loved the pity clap for d3 during the Sony conference. No one likes your rubbish game"
"hahaha.. what a joke."
"D2 > D3"
" Busy playing Marvel Heroes.....a F2P game did better"
"Y'all know how the "unlike" button works, right?"
"Oh geez. I don't even want to hear any of this. Go home, Blizzard."
"why did i even buy this game....... i could've bought 2 flat of beers instead and it'd be worth it."
"I'm sure the hate bandwagon really bothers Blizz while it sleeps on its pile of money and high review scores."
It's not like I hand-picked a few negative comments on their post, I just copy and pasted the first line of comments. Their own fanbase hates the game, and yet the game made millions in profits and will continue to do so. And Blizzard is planning on reselling DIablo 3 for consoles? I'm sorry... whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Is that seriously going to sell after every single person in your fanbase goes out of their way to mock the game?

I know they're usually littered with negative nancies, but the Diablo page is literally composed of them. I spent about 10 minutes scrolling down all 500 comments on that topic, and 6 comments were of people defending the game (not well), and only one mere comment of someone saying they couldn't wait for the E3 announcement. That maybe a worse fanbase than Mass Effect....

Sounds even worse than the LOTRO fanbase.

I was in a Mann Vs. Machine match at 7:00 Am. No one was on. ... I didn't have much to do.

This is pretty cool. The dummies at Science finally found a way to keep a heart alive after it's been ripped out of someone's chest. It's for transplants and stuff, but I want a beating heart machine mounted on my wall, and it I can put my enemies' hearts in it.

Not really worth a topic of its own, but it's neat to see.

Oh, almost forgot. WARGING. It's disturbing to see something that's been happening in your dumb fleshy chest cavities for years. Or something...
