Do you have a laser-mouse? If so, try to clean the area around the red light-bulb. I once had the same problem, because a hair got stuck in it
Yes, I have a wireless laser mouse. I tried to update the drivers, clean the device and nothing works. But I found something strange. If I alt+tab and switch between programs or go back to desktop, then the mouse freezes. Any ideas?

Buy a new mouse. They make mouses pretty cheap nowadays and I've had to replace a wireless laser mouse one time because it was not responding anymore.Yes, I have a wireless laser mouse. It seems like I will do that. Man, this computer is really weird. Broken touchpad has started working again... I should run a creep test on it.

Although it looks big and deformed, it seems a very fast and reliable one. More info will be provided when further used.
