I am looking for Mappers for Lone Wolf.
Mappers will get access to private beta and the forums and access
to the greatest collection of mapping assets in any BFME mod.

Lone Wolf has a vast array of new mapping assets like new terrain textures, many new trees and other types of vegetation, new water textures, new map props,a large number of new units and snow.

I am looking for someone who has a decent knowledge of Worldbuilder and the ability to do some basic scripting.
I can help out the new mapper and teach some things about scripting or mapping.

Applicants should show some work either a series of screenshots or a working map.

So if you are interested post up your work and hopefully you'll be part of Lone Wolf.

I would like to join your team, I have a good knowledge of worldbuilder (I think) and I am almost able to script a campaign map. My negatives are that I don't work very hard on my maps, as I work part time and for RC-mod already.
Here is some of my work for the RC mod which is in the showcase:
It starts here, all screens I posted are my maps :p

Hi,
I could be interested in doing maps for your mod. I have done quite few maps (I'd say about 20 maps) mostly for guild members and friends requests; they never got publicly released tought.

I put a lot of time in my maps (ya kinda perfectionnist). I usually make two versions of a map; the first one is kind of a blueprint of the map (a beta if you want) and then I make the final map with the needed changes. I currently have a half-time job and that until January so I have a lot of time to put in maps.

So here so screenies (Yes I know if from ROTWK World Builder. The thing is the map I was working on in BFME1 worldbuilder got deleted when I had to do a computer reboot. However I could, if needed, make a quick map in BFME1 Worldbuilder.)

1- A Barad-Dur map I'm working on (map was 20% done when screenshots where taken):

Spoiler

2- A fantasy map I was working on but was deleted in the computer reboot so I don't have the screenies on my computer but I have them on Xfire still so follow that link http://fr.xfire.com/...shots/scythiak/ and scroll down to Rise of the Witch King and look up for pics called "Gondor Lost City". The map was 30% done when screenshots where taken.

Positives points:
- I have a decent knowledge in worldbuilder.
- I have a lot of time.
- I have done a decent amount of working maps.
- I always had a decent looking mini-map to my completed maps.

Negatives points:
- I'm a total nOOb in scripting. (Only did two attemps in scripting. The first one try to make day and night alternate on my map but failed. The second was to make falling snow and succeeded only by following a guide on how to do so.)

Well, that fits fine, because I don't have much time, but I am a fast scripter and I have quite some knowledge about map.ini :p

I forgot I started this topic :p
Just a reminder I'm still looking for more mappers.
I'm looking for advanced mappers in particular for the WAR project.
But newer mappers are still welcome to apply as long as they can show they have commitment.

@Scythiak:
Looks promising can you show some screens of some of your more finished work.
This time put the images in link format so I can see them on my crappy internet.

Unless I'm mistaken, very much of the models you've used aren't in BFME1 :p

Yes I know that mod is for Battle for Middle Earth 1. Been working with both BFME1 and BFME2 Worldbuilders; it's just that I didn't had any BFME1 map on the run when I made that post.

@Radspakr:
After all that time I tought you either got someone to do the job or you didn't want my services so I got myself into other projects. However, I can still find time for you. About the maps, hey I'll do a small map for BFME1 and post it here; might take some days however as I am in the middle of beta-testing.

I'm resurrecting this thread to remind everyone I'm looking for some mappers to join Lone Wolf in creating exciting maps.
Maps will cover most areas in Middle-Earth with many many different environments to choose from and the mapping resources to make it happen.
Lone Wolf is the mappers mod with a lot of work going into adding an enormous amount of new content for use in mapping.
If you are interested apply here or in the official recruitment thread in the Lone Wolf forums.
