Yea, Sins of the Father is pretty good.  I was waiting for the full version of that, since we were teased about it during PAX 2014.  That New Order song is... alright.

That ending to MGS 4 was great.  The true death of Big Boss was a great tie to to everything.  Kojima said that was his last full MGS game.... which turned out to be a flat lie... and it would have been fine as the last game for me.  MGS 5 isn't necessary.  He's already filled in the gap between Big Boss going rouge and the birth of Solid Snake through the spoken story.  It's weird, since the spiritual end of the franchise ends with the death of big boss, and the physical ending, ends with the birth of Solid Snake.

Since someone mentioned the end of MGS, I think I'll introduce my new favourite Sigur Rós song:

I like a lot of their stuff, but this and Sæglópur are my two standout songs by them now.

Yea, I only like two Ros songs, and that's the 2nd one.  The first one obviously being The Rains of Castamere.

That sounds like the ideal start to my dream 80's sitcom all about me.

Been liking these songs for a short while though (I have been hearing these in ads and in stores):

"Let it roll!" he screamed. "Just as high as the fucker can go! And when it comes to that fantastic bit where the rabbit bites its own head off, I want you to throw that fuckin' radio into the tub with me!"

@zocom7, wasn't a fan of that Fight Song, just doesn't have anything interesting to it. On the other hand, Swift's 1989 as an album is brilliant.

Also, my contributions to the thread today:

After posting a post-1980s song from Carpenter Brit's Paradise Warfare, time for more of my favorite 1980s electronic music:

Airwolf probably has my favorite 80's TV soundtrack.  Too bad the actual show was sodding awful.

And I don't believe we've lit up the night with some Protomen anytime recently.

Oooooo... Protomen Act 3 is coming out here soon.  There's not a Oooooo long enough to describe the anticipation.

Never really got why that album was so popular. Spiders is really the only one off that album I can get with.

It was probably popular because a lot of people liked it.
