Oh no... Hawaii Five-0??? NOOOOOO.
That Genesis song, I can dig. Especially at that 1:30 mark. Not sure why it had that abrupt ending though.
I just got done watching a game called Furi and it had an AMAZING soundtrack. Very 80's, I DARE SAY. Some of these tracks are by... drum roll please... Carpenter Brunt. The unseen master himself. Great game as well, I should add.

The Genesis track cuts off because its part of a concept album that flows between tracks.
Every creature on the earth should just listen to the whole album.

A banned video does work well in comedies, yes.
came across the long version of Prodigy's Poison on the radio last evening, and thought to myself that it had that Frank Klepacki sound to it. made back in 96, a year after the original C&C, so it was in the right time.

And later on they had some funky songs, and we came across this little gem. A sort of song that reminds me of a rock opera album, Protomen-like with 80's synth funk.

Sounds a bit like something God Is an Astronaut could have produced from here, though they are more into the guitars and more upbeat stuff.

That is one of the few tracks I enjoy from the older FF games. It really set the stage for FF 7's amazing soundtrack and the future advancements.
Speaking of video game tracks, Life is Strange has some pretty cringe'y pieces, but this one is quite nice. Especially like the second half.

Hmm, think I've come across a new Progressive Metal band I like, which conveniently is also Norwegian, named Leprous. To begin with I could swear it was Devin Townsend singing, so they got a pretty sweet vocalist.
This seems to be the most popular song, though not my favorite:
