Moving on...
Been listening to a lot of rather different music of late, including Does It Offend You, Yeah? - might be your cup of tea too.
One of their more conventional songs:
"Everyone's a hero when there's nowhere left to run."

You've got to be kidding me with the title of the song (come on Konami):
Sounds like this may have been Donald Trump's official song in Japanese style.

I'd define that as gimmicky, not awesome
Have been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack as of late, which is a pretty good example of how to make history interesting and relevant, especially for Americans who maybe doesn't really care much for it.
It will be very interesting to see Lin-Manuel's influence on the Kingkiller TV-series when that comes.

Oh good lord, those lyrics are like an endurance gauntlet. If the cast of that stood up and criticized me, I wouldn't take it too personally.
Speaking of bizarre lyrics:

Well if you ever let critique sink in you might have become something
Either way, not a bad song. Doubt the rest of the game follows in the same veins.
(skip to 1.03 or so, if you don't want the noisy intro and interview.)
Teardrop is still a nice song, and Aurora has the right stuff to cover it.

Came across this music video yesterday, and even if it's 80s synthwave, the video is the primary reason to share.

Instead of posting another Lady Gaga song regarding John Wayne since that video was mediocre I decided post a post-disco song this time by..... Katy Perry?
Her previous hit song was used in Hillary's campaign and the Olympic Games:

I'm surprised how much I liked that first one.

I think I liked the video more than the song, Katy Perry tends to be less a vocal savant and more of a Dr. Seuss character, by in which I mean being wacky / colorful and not necessarily good at chaining pleasant sounding rhymes together. Kung Fury remains omnipotent, as always, and that Gunship song was surprisingly good... now can we please get back to the band in Machinarium?

Damn that was a good cover plus Pas I much enjoyed my first experience of the Machinarium Street Band.
Father John Misty tho, as if his name wasn't enough in itself, is a class act

And now there's these two new songs out, completely different to what I expected them to sound like, but I like both: Linkin Park and Me And That Man (the guy from Behemoth's really not black metal side project):
"Everyone's a hero when there's nowhere left to run."

Pleasantly surprised that the Band made it here and Kung Fury too! I'm quite a fan of Mitch Murder's work myself
Here's a few that either have slick/cool/lovely music and/or a great music video.

Quite like those Caravan Palace diddies. Olde American Jazz seems to be making a pleasant comeback.

Got family that's lived off playing jazz most of his life, so I guess that's good for someone . Not a super big fan myself, but the calmer ones do set a good mood.
Those songs show that sometimes it's good business to revisit old styles. At the very least it'll inject fresh perspectives into other kinds of music.
Another song from the upcoming Ayreon album, with a fitting name these days
