Good to see you around. Now we need to get that new members polish off your avatar and get bizzay.
Might aswell do one for myself aswell.

My name is Steinar Husby, 24 years from Norway. I've studied multimediatechnology, 3d-design and animation, which means I know how to work websites, photoshop, movie editing programs, 3d-modelling-texturing-rigging and animation, composition of 3d-renders, basic scripting, and drawing. basically a 3d-artist or just digital artist with fascination for interactive media.

Also, I realize this thread should be in the general part of the forums, so now we'll see if I can move things.

Hello fellas, I figure I'll be helping out quite a bit so I might as well do one of these fancy introduction thingies aswell, oh and hey botjer, long time no see. ;)

My name is Patrik Björck, 23 years old from the Kingdom of Sweden. I've been modding since CnC Generals, creating Only War and now playing around on my own with Only War 2. Pointless for me to go into my education, but I've done college with a focus on computer bits. I do lots of things, but I focus on texturing and 3d modelling, but I also enjoy animating even though my rigging skills might need some improving.

So yeah, dunno why but that's me!

men du är också man, och det är mer."

Hello fellow modders, My Name is Rob Damstrom from the US. age 50. yes old people like to mod too. education Life. being Dyslexia and left handed in my day meant getting tossed in some old dusty class room and forgotten. I was pretty much left on my own to figure things out and that I did. My love for computers was an obsession that started back in the 80' when a was serving in the army and stationed in Germany. the commodore 64 holds a lot of fine memory's for me. there was a magazine called transactor that was probably the best programmer's magazine ever made. with it I made my own assembler, dissembler, an extended basic. then there was the amiga the most awesome computer of is day. too bad commodore had to kill it. there I learn amiga E which was by far the best language I've ever worked with. the compiler was so fast that you could compile thing's at run time and not even notice. it was a sad day when I had to leave my amiga behind and move on. from there I mostly stayed with Delphi aside from modding. now it seems that I have been abandon again. so it time to move on once again. over the last year I've been modding in oblivion working on a companion mod. it was intended to be a modder's resource but sadly never really took off. I continue to work on it here and there but I can really do what I want because oblivion doesn't allow it. guess we've all been there. so now I'm on a new mission to create and open rpg/rts frame work on the unity engine one that would support any kind of rpg you care to dream up. I will be using this frame work to explore some other ideas as well as having a way to get my bender creations in the game. for this I have chosen the C# as it has the most to offer even if its a little more work. like most of you I am in the learning cycle at this point making little scripts and testing them to figure out how things work in unity. I really like using unity and am seeing a long term relationship forming here. I am looking for a place to setup a work in progress forum if there is interest in this mod. I would like to share its progress as well as exchange ideas share so code that sort of thing. I must warn you though. I really like making female companions and making clothes for them. it's probable an old guy thing as they usually look better then my wife these days. I even though about making a little supermodel mod of a sort. people really like showing off there companion's in oblivion I think they spend more time doing that then anything else.

Hi everyone!

So I've been eager to get back into game-art and mod stuff for a while, and I hope I get to help out getting more stuff done!

I'm 21, living in Norway, currently working with visual effects and 3d-animation in Oslo. Prior to that I've studied 3D-animation a couple of years with somewhat of a passion for game-art :)
I make 3d assets (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation) and 2d stuff! I've also been programming a bit on the side (I was most proficient in C# and web programming), but I believe I'm getting kind of rusty in that department.
I'm somewhat new to modding, although I did a prototype game on XNA back in the days.

Now there!

If you're interested in game design, modding is an awesome way to get some experience for the bigger stuff. But anywho... hey.
