So, my operating system crashed, and my hard drive got corrupt. I could not access any of the files on it, even when I boot my computer without the OS. So, the only option I had left was to wipe my hard drive. And reinstall Windows. With doing this, I lost a LOT of valuable work. If I am not mistaken, I lost almost all of the new assets yet to be incorporated into the mod. Also I believe I lost nearly all of the codes for the elves. I lost everything for the mod I've been working on for the last month. I lost all my RenX/3ds Max save files and models. Lost all my skins and textures from photoshop.

I do not have the will power to redo all these things. Especially not alone.

So, I think I will end my suffering and release a "modders edition" of MME. buggy, and raw code. But, if someone has any interest at all to work on it. Then by all means.

I leave the rights to the assets to Eldarion. One must ask him for permission to use the art. Any of MY work someone wants to use, they can without permission. Just go for it.

Really sorry about your loss.I can't imagine how painful would be if I would lose all my work. Take your time dude , you'll get back working on it someday ..

I agree with you Kwen. It will take too long and it will be too boring to remake all new things in MME. It was a bad idea to download that keygen

I wouldn't give up just yet.
Just give it a couple weeks and see if you still have the heart to continue.

See I still have access to the most recent private beta. But I no longer have any of the .max files for the models, or any of the .psd files for the textures. So, even the most miniscule modification to any model requires an entire remake.

Take a couple weeks off and don't even think of your mod. Come back with a fresh start. When emotinal levels are this high, we may not make the best decisions. I truly do believe you can finish this mod Kwen even with this setback.

I suppose this is the one thing that makes me being the only full time Modeler/skinner a really bad thing. I am the ONLY person who had access to any of the models/skins.

You still have access to the most recent beta, you say? Then don't give up! I mean, if you'd lost all the code as well as the original models and skins, I'd understand you giving up, but seriously, the mod is far from lost!
