Creator here are the models as promised,
I'll have a render with some suggestions on top for each:

The first one, I got bored of the USA Laser general's Laser commanche firing lasers from rocket pods , so I decided to make something more "appropriate" which in this model are two prisms located next to the choppers sensors in front, the chopper uses an advanced jet engine:


The second one, USA Cyber General's A-20 gunship, to replace the original A-10 which looks kinda odd considering the other high tech weaponry of this general's arsenal:


The third one, China Flame General's final reinforcement power, I called it Ifrit, It's a metal dragon (and for those of you that are going to rush, yes it's based on Yoji Shinkawa's Design ) I thought of it hovering above the ground, using a flamethrower as weapon, and when thermobaric mixtures upgrade is purchased it is swicthed to a thermobaric fireball:


The fourth one, is a Hovering Modular Tank (H.M.T.) it comes without a gun and then you can purchase it's weaponry (just like overlords additional turrets) In the render i have it with a plasma gun (just like plasma paladin), i have another version with a normal cannon, each gun replacement also changed the back of the hovercraft which houses the ammunition (in the render there are two plasma tubes, in the gun version i have ammunition/shell boxes):


The fifth one, is USA SuperWeapon general's advanced APC, which has two point defence turrets on top, and can carry 4 soldiers:


The sixth one, is Cyber General's Blizzard (as I call it), it is a floating mech which has two laser blasters:


I'll have to say that textures are not finished yet, since what you see here are textures without light reflections baked inside the texture, so it looks like "plain colour"
I'm currently working on damaged and destroyed statuses.... All models are below 1300 polies =)

Those are really nice models,i like them all but i dont think flying bug will fit for china,better addapt it to cyber general somehow. Also,i think you will have to adjust skin to look more like units in contra,but thats all minor things...models are great.

There models are quite nice. However, implementation is another story.
- The replacement of Laser Comanche looks nice but I think it should have a new name (since it's entirely another design).
- A-20 jet does seem fit Cyber Gen.
- Drone for China? No, it is not a good idea. As dcesarec said, it's more fitting to Cyber Gen.
- Hover tank idea is not bad but I'm not sure which faction should receive it.
- This APC reminds me of BF2142 APC. It looks good though but not fit with SWG at all.
- The Blizzard is nice. I think it's better than current Laser Drone for Laser Gen (and it uses laser weapon).

Excellent ideas!! Well designed as well, like the flame general air unit especially. Hope they are added to the mod.

And why is that ?
First of all it is NOT a bug, the design is based on Yoji Shinkawa's METAL GEAR RAY, which is a dragon......
Asiatic cultures use mecha in all other games i know, and it's part of their culture... Besides in the game it's war, espionage and sabotage happens, so maybe it's a stolen idea, Americans stole the Stealth idea from the Russians back in the Cold War...
And besides ALL these, i could not find a better thing than a dragon spitting flames for Flame general

- Hover tank idea is not bad but I'm not sure which faction should receive it.

It fits in all of them if you apply different gun mounts
I have ready two versions of it, and one more is on it's way.....

Human-liked Mech is originated in Japan (Anime). Drone for China does not match Contra. It might be good in other mods but not this one.
Current Contra theme is that China utilizes conventional technology (with a bit advancement into future like super unit but still based on conventional weapon and technology). USA is the futuristic faction while GLA is outdated one.

I would like to see more weapons base on the realistic world for China. Something powerful and practical. just like Casojin said, something between GLA. and USA.

Just like the A-100 and Iron Fist(previous name), and Guan Yu tank,(Previous name: Shaitan) these weapon are perfect for China side. Basically，China is not as rich as USA, so we will not make something so fantasy,maybe in the future.

Hey, make some Gundam modelings, see if Mr. Creator wants to use it. (Just joking) Very nice modeling BTW.

Wonderful! I have just one request to you. Please, add some more detalils to skins. Units must be more realistic - they need to have scratches, dirt and lighting must be drawn more carefuly.

Look at renders. Especially, at these ones:

As you can see, their skins have lights, shadows and scratches. Your skins are almost flat (except of glass things, which are drawn correctly). You filled background with grey and drawn the most of detail with lines. It is not very good.

- As for your ideas. USA Laser general's Laser Commanche can be replaced with your model.
- Cyber General's A-20 gunship instead of A-10. No, I don't like it.
- China Flame General's robot. I don't like it.
- Hovering Modular Tank. Very good model. I can replace air force general's light tank with it.
- SuperWeapon general's advanced APC. Actually, SuperWeapon general does not need APC. But I think that it can replace Shield Generator model.
- Cyber General's Blizzard. This general has enough of robots. (By the way, I'm modelling 3 more of them - new spider mech, new artillery spider and new infantry killer spider.) Your model can fit to replace existing Cyber helicopter. I use Orca from CnC3, but your model is better.

And so, I'm ready to insert 4 of your models into the mod. But all of this can be made only after you fix skins.

As i already said, skins are not in final version, and they don't have light reflections on them...I already stated that in my first post, I just need one week or something to finish them off (together with the damaged ones)....

How can I know what Yoji Shinkawa is when I never ever play Metal Gear? The image can't be open either but from I've seen from the forum. It looks like cybernatic vehicle of sort which does not fit Contra theme for China.

As I said, Contra theme so far considers China as conventional. Most weapons are conventional projectiles (bullets, shells, missiles) with not-too-far-in-the-future advanced technology. Even the Guan Yu Tank does use conventional DPU shells as ammunition.

Not really , lt is like comparing a assault rifle with a Samurai sword that made of diamond in the Japanese warring states period. of course, a diamond sword sounds a little fantasy, but it is still a conventional weapon at that time and for sure a assault rifle is a much more fantasy thing. to that time .

Taramas I changed my mind about A-20 Gunship. I'm working on air force general target designator now. It must work like automatic airfield and launch 1 small gunship. A-20 will fit the most of all.

Yesterday I've finished University studies for this semester, and I will be free for 2 weeks (Easter vacations), so i will have time to work on the skins as i promised, Dcesarec, offered to help with them too, which is good to lower the time needed....

Here is another model i've finished but couldn't upload earlier:

I made it as a replacement to AirF. General's Hercules drop pod plane. It should replace the planes that drop reinforcements, and several powers/abilities, because the current plane is looking obsolete, and low tech compared to his other forces (e.g. Wyvern, high end fighters/bombers):

i think that it is good for dropping mines and stuffs like that. but i also think, that this shouldnt replace the hercules. why? there is no room for garrisons.
