Having finished (for the moment) my series of Arnor Models based on Games Workshop Ruin of Arnor, I wanted to know what good modeller and skinner think of them. So here they are:

The chest on the HA is a little shiny, but that might just be the renderer.

They look very nice in game. I saw some screens of them.

I personally never liked the Christmas theme GW made for the soldiers of Arnor..

But you did an alright job on them. Well, if you darken and desaturate the green abit that is, it's way to bright now :shiftee2:
Guess the same can be said about the armor parts aswell..
The head-band or whatever it's called... It sucks, but that's partly because there doesn't seem to be any effort put into them, which brings me to the other part, it's a sucky idea by GW from the start :p

I think the brightness might be the W3D viewer. One version of it makes everything look brighter. I think they look pretty good in game.

I like it... Oh and Ouranos the archers still have the green boxes but the exfiretorchseq.tga still shows... Also why doesnt the archers arrow cause fire damage? Or show fire when it is shot?

The arrows fired are not Fire arrows" because you haven't added the update code in the Arnor Archer (Have a look at Gondor Arhce)
Send me a picture of the Green Arrow and I willtry to fix it.

I like it, but the skins need more details.
The green is not so good, chose a other colour for the skins.

Arrow Error

This should be it. See the archers have green boxes. Also that the arrows dont have fire on it. I fixed it a little so that the fire sequence tga shows but the green box is still there. I cant get an update pic until later.

What would the update be?

Desaturate a bit that green , add some more shadows and highlights , maybe some texturing , some rough parts and it would be better . And that band ... not fit with the helmet , try something else ( like some wings ) .

They're based on them, they're not them... Which is obvious in some places :wub:
You don't have to keep the headband, but if you don't like it yourself you should remove them

True , some of them are too off.

If you want to keep the headband make it look more like cloth and make the helmet smooth , yours is pointy.

The Error Again the firetorchseq.tga can be seen, but when the arrow is fired there is no fire effect or any thing (I dont know there error that is happening there).

On the nose is a yellow part of the helmet, right?

House colors to fire arrows? I dont think houescolors for fire arrows is possible. For HA its off.
