When wandering what could be added to BfME 1 I came across the idea of creating a goblin faction. Never really liked gobos in the second game (i didn't like the second game anyway ) so i though it would be quite cool to spend some time and create the nation for the first game. As some models and animations for the goblins are already there, task would be smaller and ideal for someone who is just starting (yes, I know, scripting is a pain in the butt and I do realize it is NOT easy).
Here are the units I would like to introduce AT THE MOMENT:
- Goblin Swordsman - Big group of goblins equiped with swords. Cheap (cost 0) and numerous. Although weak, they advance very quickly and have amazingly fast creation time.
- Goblin Spearmen - Only anti-cavarly unit which in all honesty, isn't that useful against cavalry anyway
- Goblin Archer - Goblins equiped with bows. They are very weak in defense and will not live long. However, they are great for harassing the enemy.
- Mountain Troll - Wild trolls from the mountains who are enslaved by those little creatures. However, this "slavery" is double sided, as goblins themselves often end up being a snack for those huge creatures
- Warg herd - small herd of wild Wargs who charge and seek their pray
- Spiderlings - small group of little spiders who hunt for human or orc meat.
- Goblin Prowlers - tiny groups of most awful of goblins who serve as deadly mercenaries. They carry small knives and are very agile (small damage but more resistant).
Heroes:
- Goblin King Durburz - Speaks for itself
- Shelob - Da Da Da Dam
- Ughuzur - The big troll
Well, I've started working on the 3D buildings, and I need coders if there are any willing to help. If not, then I will somehow manage myself but... I've got life too and it will be slow
Well, wish me luck and contact me if you need to:
