Ok so now that is official , Dol Guldur will be the faction replacing beasts and I will have the honor to make it .

So , to do this right I have to play it safe and try to make an organized work .

I will start this faction by making a lot of art , so what ideas might work on it . I would really appreciate if you comment and share your opinions about them and tell me things you would really want to see in a Dol Guldur faction .You can help this faction be how it should be .

Next I'll show you the first concept arts I have done for some units.The Tech-tree is done but I'll post it later after the staff will see and discuss it a bit and make some corrections where they are needed (if they are at all ) .

Concept arts are preety decent altho the 2-nd troll still looks like he is hanging from a tree not carrying it :p rest Sauron errrrrrr Necromancer looks sick dude!

a spider hero would be good... not sure where shelob is at the moment
as for the roster, it looks good, and fairly balanced.
half-orcs were mainly used by isengard if i recall correctly; i think they don't fit that well with dol guldur
i think that perhaps there should be one or two more orc units; maybe a pike unit and a warg-riding unit from the misty mountains.

overall though, it looks good. you could call your smoky lieutenants the castellans of dol guldur, since i assume that is what they are based on (the gw figures)

Orcs stalkers are archers , they will hunt you down .

Yeah it's true orcs are better then just half , but I thought about bodies that weren't completely corrupted by the DG sorcerers .But maybe you are right .(Good I did not done any art for them , and if I did it would prop be for Isengard).

@khamul
Not really needed but since it's made I'll replace the half-orcs with orc pikes (That was the thing missing) but Weights will get halberds also (I think ) ... I shall remake the Tech-tree with that does every unit and what role.

A spider hero ? Bad idea ... I think the heroes that are now are just enough to have a fun and balanced game .

Btw , I don't use the Castellans of DG design from GW ( as you can see the art for it is allready made ) , that's why they have a different name .

Greenish blades.. reminds me of Morgul Blades, or Westerneese damage in LOTRO, or poisoned weapons... best not to mess with that guy 5/5 :)

Interesting armor design. :good: I recommend making the eye engraving a little more noticeable (hard to see on the skin right now).
