I've downloaded the TEA mod from its website, but every time I double-click the shortcut it says "you must run the game from its install directory". I've been reading some threads here and see that some people have the same problem, but the solution that's given for them doesn't seem to work for me.

According to some other threads this has to do with the information in "properties". This is what i've found.

Target: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™\lotrbfme.exe" "#:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™\lotrbfme.exe" –mod ElvenAlliance.big
Start in: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™"

The disc for playing is in my D drive, the game is installed on my C drive and the mod is also installed on my C drive. What goes wrong?

I'm not sure whether this will work, but try changing the target into the following. It might work.

Target: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth ™\lotrbfme.exe" –mod ElvenAlliance.big

If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.
