As you can guess i'm kinda new to modelling.
Now i made quite a few models and they made it to ingame and working well, but there are a few issues with them and deffenatly at the exporting parts. Could some one redirect me to how to export the models properly so parts that mean to be transparent will be transparent or use correct alpha chaneling ( muzzle flash for example, its not like a flame hold in a black box ) and so on, would be lot of help.
Also an simplier tutorial how to texture, skin the models properly as i havent done that part at alll yet.
To see what i'm working on heres a quick link to my mod

Hello there Gen.Kenobi!
I did check out the tutorials and it helped in few things, though still have the issue of the muzzleflash part of the model ( the flame is there but its surrandings is black ) like the Alpha Channel wouldnt work, regardless before re exporting the model did select it in the options ( using Gmax ) Now i thinking about to cut these parts out for now as the FX particles work perfectly at the moment.
