Hi ! as a LOTR fan , I decided to publish my LOTR vision , here first with a Rohirrim footman :

No , it's a Rohan warrior ,, but I think he's a bit too bulky . I shall changed his scale , he's a bit too short .

So I'd count according to your notices and the general feeling , so I've improved it a bit :

I'm going to be a bit nitpicky here but that's what I do for drawings.

• You might to address his feet they don't sit right.
• His belt is pretty low as well.
• His Pauldrons are to close to his neck.
• His Greaves are too long he'd never be able to swing a sword with Greaves that go all the way to the Pauldrons.

You mean gauntlets, not greaves, don't you, Rad?

I still think his proportions look a bit wonky. He's a bit wide for a man--looks more like a Dwarf, really--and the men of Rohan were said to be exceptionally tall, which makes him look even stranger in proportion. I like the look of his armor, so far, though, although I do agree with Rad that the bracers/gauntlets would severely limit elbow motion. So draw them elbows!
