That's right, we're looking for mappers. If you've got some decent working experience with maps, and are interested in helping us out in charting out Greece, feel free to post in here or drop me a PM - or even contact me on MSN for details. I only ask that you please include proof of your work - images, links, what have you.

We're currently wanting maps on the following locations: Achaea, Corinthia, Laconia and Messenia. Please do proper research when working on your maps; as with everything else in The Peloponnesian Wars, accuracy is one of our highest priorities.

Let it begin!

PS; we reserve the right to edit your maps to include custom objects to increase the feeling of immersion.

PPS; did I mention that those who make the cut will get access to the current alpha and further inside updates?

Mappers may also take this topic as an opportunity to apply as a fulltime mapper, by the way.

I can say that any mapper can ask me for a link to the Mapper's hidden stasj of Goodies, meaning Greek props. Currently, there aren't a whole lot, but there is a lot of opportunities with the little there currently is :shiftee:
And there's also room for requests, meaning that if you want a particular object, for example a specific statue that stood on a certain place, you're free to ask for it to be made.

That doesn't mean we will make it, but we'll add it to our list :lion:

You have my attention - since I have nothing better to do.... The historical accuracy might be tough though. Do you have some good resources for me to look over?

Thanks for showing interest! I can send you my own references by MSN if you use it (if so, add me - my email is on my profile here) and others aren't difficult to find on the Internet with proper application of Google-Bing-fu.

Would you, by any chance, like me to do stuff to this unfinished map, in terms of Greek?
Posted Image
It was designed as a basic map for only two teams with the emphasis on naval battles. It is not desert enough, however to be Umbar, which is a cape, not a cove, and the map itself is very hard to fit into the LotR.
