well, what to say... ur mod is AWESOME!
i was an old fan of the first commandos, which is still in my opinion one of the best videogames EVER;
i recently played a LOT with ur new mod; i' m lovin it!
here r my suggestions:
from my point of view, the GOAL of commandos is NOT to be discovered; i consider game over once the allarm goes off, and i cant help but dislike all that mission where u r forced to fight (worst missions ever: that orrible train mision in BTCOD, virtually impossible without using guns); at this regard, some modifications i'd suggest r:
- the possibility to insert in the difficulty-choice a sub menu with a series of options: "MISSION FAILEd IF ALLARM GOES OFF" switch; UNLIMITED AMMO weapon switch; i guess it would be preatty easy to do;
aslo, hw is possible soldiers find a dead body and not only they dont trigger the allarm, but they keep acting as usual after that? they should just run to find a corporal or similar to trigger the allarm.
- dogs need to fall into sleep with the gas bomb; better if a gas bomb would kill them: u could say it in the guide that the dose is strong for dogs and usually kill them;
-tthe driver is COMPLETELY useless; this is something that bother me: why is he even in the missions?
-the possibility of launching rocks of BTCOD was incredibly usefull; couldnt come back in DP?
-impossible dream: a pause bottom and the possibility to coordinate 3 coomandos to act at once;
-the possibility for the green berret to press "S" and select a cadaver in order to hide it under the dirt.
-the thief is WAY too powerfull.... fair enought: reduce his bag as the one of whiskey!
-u can send the mouse to the other end of the map!!??? NO!
-if stand up, the green berret should be able to run to the enemy and jump to his neck before he can hear him... the downside could be the soldier screaming like a pig with a big sound-wave.... anyway i know u got no animation for this, but is an idea.
-why would u got merit for NOT killing the enemies?
-i'd like to be able to booty trap the wire with sleeping gas to eliminate the patrools.
-the spy should hv the options of faking his death with an enemy uniform in order to be used as a bait.
and what else... i am full of ideas; shame i have no clue about programming =)
anyway, the main reason for this post is to thank u for ur incredible job and to beg for help for a small bug in the colditz mission: i can save and quick save with no problems, but once i try to load or quickload at the end of the "fuse", just when the screen should show the game the game crash; it is the only level where i got this problem; i had the 1.41 patch already installed and i even installed it again with no success... i got windows 7 but i am running commandos in compatibility mode as XP SP3... any suggestion? also cause that is my FAVOURITE mission goddammit, the only of C2 where u cant let the allrm go off....

I found a curious thing:
In La Rochelle Part 1, one british allied soldier, that has to be rescued, has been moved into the building where two engineers are repairing a car. The issue is solved now and ready for to be included in the next update:)

I can't play destination paris 1.41 multiplay on GameRanger, if I create host - other player can't come in game, if I join other host - I cant come in ( screen is black and say: eror )

please read the other post on how to play Commandos DP Online, you should try with Hamachi, that works 100%

Next you need sign in. Next in Network explorer you need find strategy, commandos 2. Now you open the game, multiplayer, select user, and TCP/IP Lan. Is important that your firewall dont stop the game. And you are ready to play.

i´ve got a serious Problem with Commandos DP 1.41 :(. My Friend and i both uses 1.41 + Hamachi, every Mission works fine exept Castle Colditz :/. We can´t reload, because if we do, the game crashes immediately :(
Is there any Possibility to solve this Problem ???

Hi everyone. I've installed all the mods for C2 as explained in http://commandoshq.net/c2dp_dloads.php, plus the Widescreen Resolution Mod. Then I start a new game, hard difficulty, and I immediately get stuck on first training mission... I think it's a little TOO hard 
I mean, every video, walkthrough or tip I find online shows all the new enemies except for the most annoying one, the one in the round outpost on the top of the area who is standing still and looks all the way down.
Moreover, everyone finds the lockpick set in the box inside the level crossing, but as I struggled to get there without being caught, I just found some food and medpacks.
If I change the difficulty level, the training mission is the same as the original, and I'd really like to play a slightly hardest game than the original one, but the one I'm playing is quite frustrating. So, is there some kind of problem or I'm just not hardcore enough to play like that?
I also found a little bug (more likely something I don't remember how to do), the Thief has the bottle of wine, but it doesn't appear on the item list on the left, to use it I have to pass it to the Sapper, who has the dedicated slot empty.
