Mike fell into pasidon's sarcasm trap, takes 4 cynical damage.

Oh hell, I've been out of the loop too long. I failed a charisma roll.

Out of curiosity, who are your favorite characters?

I like Snow. He's pretty likable. And I really like the Hound's character... there's a lot of cool history between him and his brother that makes their scenes very interesting.

I think Bran might get interesting as time goes on. Beyond that, Tyrion is always a good laugh and it will be interesting to see how he handles his new responsibility next season. Also, the Lannister kid, can't wait to see his demise. Aria* is also fun, might become a nice little assassin.

You have a lot of faith Joffery is going to have a demise... Wanna put bets on who dies next season?

I'd guess the Robb might get defeated and executed sometime. If Catelyn doesn't sacrifice herself in his stead or something. I rather not guess too much since I know the answer is out there somewhere and spoilers would be spoilers.

Well it's not a spoiler if it's a guess. Such as, I predict Lady Stark will find herself cut from the series this season due to fatal reasons. I dunno how dead Sean Bean will remain, on that note....

I was just coming to post that :p

My body is ready. I've read the first three books (so I won't spoil anything for you guys) but I can't wait to see things on the show. Cannot wait.

I would read the books... but yea, that would just spoil things for me. I'll resist until the series is over. Maybe...

Hmm, so it was finished in june, and season 2 starts in march... Time does fly.

And you Ash, must either be slow on good media or observing it legitimately :).

I don't watch TV as it's broadcast. I just get hold of the full thing and go through it. At least I haven't long to wait for S2 :)

I really hope that the second series stays just as faithful to the books as the first did. The Starks are about the unluckiest set of people ever written in fiction. But yeah, from what I'm reading...best not to get too attached to anyone...

Ah... I resisted that TVtropes attack.

Also, yes. GoT is great. I am not too keen on the whole "this story is BRUTAL, look! We KILL everyone you grow attached to!" but it pulls it off pretty well, and Tyrion is a fantastic character.

No fuel left for the pilgrims

Drat... everything is on Fridays. And I do hope it picks up. A very slow start for a very fast show.

Looks like sundays to me.

Also, slow? they started by murdering babies in the first episode. Second episode would have some trouble keeping that pressure up, but we got to see some greyjoy nobles and tabletop fucking and tyrion snark. Win for me.

The baby scene was pretty epic. Need to get some better camera angles up in there. And I don't consider procreation scenes to be a positive pace builder for the show... actually, those stupid scenes keep me from recommending the show to people I know. Every blasted episode... Gahhhh! It burns Pasidon's eyes like acid.

I'm a customized redneck... I have a Confederate flag, but I hate chicken pot pie. I enjoy extremely violent scenes but I'm far too anti human to have any care for procreation scenes. I understand how the show wants to be raw and real without any restrictions, but the story really can't be recommended to everyone because they focus far too much on sexual appeal. Sometimes it isn't sexual appeal, but sexual intrigue. It really is a shame since I really want to have some Game of Throne marathons to show off to my friends to show them some brutal violence and great story line, but I have no interest in sighing in disappointment over the undesirable scenes in it, even if they enjoy them or not. Actually... that's the issue... they would enjoy them. I need to make some anti human friends that aren't loco in all the wrong ways...

To be fair, George R R Martin didn't really skimp on the sex scenes. It seems almost a natural pairing for his writing and HBO, given they fronted such other shows as Rome, Spartacus, etc.

And there's no such thing as a non-loco anti-human type. Way to flip Charles Darwin the bird. Or give yourself a front row seat at the Darwin Awards
