The Conscripts now replace the Soviet rifle infantry.
This is bad news over all has a few fixes have been introduced. Firstly in oder to help the game run more smoothly, the Conscripts will train in squads of 6, insted of 9 used by the rifle infantry. Second, the fact that not only were the rifle squad member just has fast has their GDI counter parts, they also had the same health and weapon power!
So for $100 cheaper (with the added benefit of lower build times) you got a squad that was much more power due to numbers.
Not any more, while the Conscripts have similar health and weapon, they are now much slower.
They are still damn cheap though!
Use them to fill garrisons and has fodder during offensive rushes.
