Hi,
I'm requesting for someone to do some work for me. I need the Gandalf the Grey (not White, and without horse) model from BFME 2 for Gmax or 3ds format. So basically the model should be edited with Gmax or 3ds or whichever you prefer easiest. I would like it animated in just the normal standing position with textures.

I can't do this myself because a bunch of my programs don't work and I don't have the game anymore. Hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

um. You can find the file in the bfme2 W3D.big file. and do it yourself... all you need is Gmax and Renx.

Didn't you read? I've told you that I no longer have the game so I don't have any files left. So I tried using the demo version of BFME 2 but it doesn't work properly. I opened w3d files with finalbig and they show up messed like the meshes are all over the place. Please can anyone help me out. I'm desperate. If you can do this, I'll be in your debt forever. I can even pay for it if desired.
Sorry but I've already tried myself to do this but I can't. If I can easily do it myself why would I be posting for help in the first place. And I'm not gonna buy the game again just to get a Gandalf model into Gmax because that's all I want. Thank you very much in advance.

Here's Gandalf the Grey's skeleton, models and idle animations. It's a self-extracting archive.

Out of interest, why do you need it?

Sorry about the attitude. I just thought why have a request forum if they just tell you to do it yourself. Again my apologies. I want the model because I really like how it looks and use in 3ds max for a few projects.

Thank you so much for the files, I really appreciate it.

I hate to be a bother but I need one more thing. I need the Gandalf the Grey skin texture. The one I already have that came with the BIG files is not the one I want cuz it looks totally different. I'm not sure how to get this new skin, does it come from a new mod or something? The image I posted is the skin I want.

I also don't know how to make Gandalf in idle animation in either Gmax or 3ds. Can someone post a link to a tutorial for animations please? Is it even possible to make it animated? Thanks in advance.

I got the photo from this site.
My link
I also wanted to ask to make sure that if what I'm trying to do is achievable. I have the gandalf model in gmax with all the skeletons and whatnot but how do I get it to view the model animated in idle position? Like I want it to look exactly like the photo I posted of gandalf standing. Is it possible to make the look as if seen ingame instead of it unanimated?
Sorry if I sound confusing because I'm terrible at explaining. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance.

@Spartan: Thats different he could of gone looking for the file himself by going to google and looking up: Bfme2 Gandalf the grey Download. I did this but for my request and was looking for a while and couldn't find anything. Thats why i posted. Plus the files i wanted are a lot bigger then his. The point is i tried very hard my self. I asked a friend for the files but he couldn't get them to me for some unknown reason. I also tried the redownload my game a few times and that failed...

@Trentoho: That is from a mod already released. Sorry to burst your bubbles but if its going in mod that you are releasing then your gonna have to ask Ridder Geel. Even if it wasn't you would probably have to ask him for it.

Ok, I've now gotten the Gandalf skin. Thank you all for the help.
But I still have the other problem left. How do I view animations in gmax/3ds? Does it even work with BFME 2 animations? If not, can someone be kind enough to upload Gandalf's BFME 1 idle animations for me, assuming they're the same. Thanks in advance.

Oops sorry, I didn't mean view. I meant to say that I want to edit the animations IN gmax. I don't want to view it in w3d viewer. For i.e. it's like having the unit inside gmax/3ds such as in attacking position, rather than being in its static mode(the look as soon as it's imported).
Yeah I know I'm being confusing. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I did that, but what do I do next? I imported the model, skeleton, and animation but nothing happens from there. I heard that BFME 2 animations don't work in Renx, so I think I need the BFME 1 animation. Can anyone please send me the BFME 1 animation of Gandalf the Grey? Is there a tutorial on how to edit animations in Renx or whatever and seeing them inside Renx, not w3d viewer or ingame?
Thank you in advance.

Not if they're BFME 2 anims.
They don't all work in Renx.

trentohe, if you have indeed imported the model, skl, and anim into Renx. Then press the "Play" button near the bottom right hand side.
It may not even work the way you want even if you have the BFME 1 anim. So just try some things.

That isn't my problem. I've already imported the animations but nothing seems to work inside Renx. It's just frozen in place.

I tried that but it doesn't work. There is no movement. I'm probably using BFME 2 animations. I haven't used BFME 1 anims yet so I'd like to try them out. But I don't have BFME 1 game or its files so I need someone to upload Gandalf idle animation files. I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
