During some of the discussions Naz and I have had regarding AI and War of the ring, some changes have been brought about to many of the maps currently in SEE.

1. War of the ring will absolutely not be supported. This is a good thing Since I can fiddle with maps that EA created which are just generic without breaking War of the ring.
2. The number of AI players that can be added to a map is limited by the number of slots in the WB Player list. This affects our ability to add the AI of newer factions to 7 and 8 player maps. As a result the max number of Players for SEE's skirmish maps will be limited to 6. Maps with 7 or 8 players will be adjusted to 6.

So the first of the maps changed For SEE DC is EA's Mordor map which Ive always felt rather odd due to the lake thrown right into the middle. It would have made more sense if EA had just associated the map name with the only body of water in Mordor but nooooo they made it a generic symmetrical map.

So after a few hours tweaking and hacking, texturing and such, I give you the Sea of Nurnen 6 player map.

Ive still got some minor editing to do, scaling trees, but the basic terrain and texturing is complete. Start locations and gollum spawn points have been moved accordingly.

Yes, I found that map kinda boring as it was symmetrical.

Thanks for the improved Nurnen NJM!

:) I will start fiddling with a set of SkyBoxes for you to choose from, soon. For now, the low res EA ones you used will do though. Download Lake Town and you have the scripts there. Just open it, go to script menu, export and then you can import into the other maps. The script has the prooper camera angles setup and the coding is finished in the INIs. Everything needed now is a better set of skybox models (textures) so I'll code them in asap =)
