I am aware that you can adjust your resolution with options.ini, also Iam also aware of the stretching. Still I'm looking for a way to add more resolutions to the droplist with: 16:9 ratio.I was able to add more by manually adding new resolutions on my computer. If you follow the 4:3 resolution scale, they should pop up. Unfortunately, BFME does not support widescreen. While you can make BFME work on widescreen, all the 2-d images and interface will be stretched. The default camera distance view also changes a bit.

No more facts plz. I already knew all this...The game was released in 2004 before Widescreen monitors were widespread.

So I give them the maps.big(I rename it ofc) with the different camera height & tell them to change the options.ini to their monitors res.
When I would make a patch installer for 1.04 I wanna add the option to install the 'Widescreen' maps.big also.
The only thing is the installer are for those who can't work well with computers so I wanna make it easyier as much as possible.
What would make it easyier is too add more resolutions ex. 1680 1080 (without the need to go to appdata & change options.ini).
I'm trying to find a way to do it doesn't matter how..

You'll have to open up every .map from maps.big and change the camera distance with "Worldbuilder".How can I change the camera distance in LOTR BFME 1? is it in options.ini?
Next to that to stretch the game to fit your whole screen you need to change the resolution in the options.ini
example:
Resolution = 1920 1080

But firstly you said you added more resolutions on your computer what do you mean by this can share some more details on what steps you had to take.
