Hello,

I installed SEE successfully, I can play it fine, however all shadows are 'missing'... and I've found the game now has very poor graphic detail, all units have the same shadows as BFME 1 and not a detailed (and per unit) shadow as BFME 2, I want to play it with maximized details but even with those settings applied, it doesn't work.

Any advise?
Once SEE is disabled, all shadows and general detail come back and work fine.

Regards.

This might be an issue with gamedata.ini... Although I can't be certain since i do not have the latest version of SEE...
Someone else will have to answer this for you i suppose... I have never had this problem. Another option is that possibly options.ini is not working correctly... (found in your application data) (My Battle for middle-earth 2 files)

Thanks for replying! :)

I'm not sure what it could be, aren't you able to share with me your 'gamedata.ini' or 'options.ini' file contents? I'd like to use yours to see if that fix the issue.

I'm using version 4.5 (beta) on BFME 2 1.06.

Regards.

Also, as an additional and 'general' question, I was wondering if is there any way to set a higher shadow/antialiasing/anisotropic filter/etc setting manually? or is there any mod to: "increase" the game graphics?... I'm not sure if this can be achieved.

There isn't a mod to do this, as I don't believe it's possible. However, if you have an Nvidia graphics card then you can open up the Nvidia control panel and use that to "force" the game to run with higher graphics. You can input all those you mentioned, and as far as I know it's the only way to make BFME use antialiasing at all. I'm not sure, but I'd imagine that the ATI cards also have a similar feature in their control panel. So that would be a good place to look if I were you.

Yeah, actually I have a GTX 550 Ti and I just tuned up my BFME 2 :S... I didn't know that! amazing! :O... now I'm playing it how I was supposing to be playing it xD.. thanks.
Now let's see what happens with the mod enabled, let's see if that works.
