Will make a note of the language considerations in the next installer, thanks.

this dosent have to do with this bug, but since i am a "guest" i cannot make a post so yea
My problem is that everynow and then, about every few hours, the mod crashes and usually the saved files are fine, but every now and then, when the mod crashes, it deletes all of my saved files for the game and i have to redo-i usually save every hour or after a big battle, since the game will ALWAYS delete the auto saved files when it crashes, but like 2 out of 10 delete all the files..., which makes the auto save useless....is anyone else having problems with this "bug"? if not im thinking of uninstalling everything and reinstalling it all and see if that fixs the problem...
some one said to exit to windows ammediatly if this bug happens or just get off the mod, but that dosent seem to work

P.S. to reliterate the few hours i meant every 4-6 hours, not 2, but today its acting up alot, while the first few days it didnt do it as often,

If you could log what was going on before the crash, that would be helpful. Especially the last of couple battles fought. Thanks.

i uninstalled and deleted evey file and redownloaded
since then i havent had any crashes, but i will keep a log for in case it pops up again, the first time i downloaded the game i had no problems until after the 2nd day...so hopefully in the first installation it just didnt download correctly or i had a file messing the game up

Renaming the FoC XML file "LMX" and removing the stargate mod shortcut from EAW worked, I can now play the game. It needed both of them gone, not one or the other

You're kidding... a shortcut is messing us up now? How did the SG mod install it?

It was a batch file or something like that? I'm not very good with modding, but if people follow your advice and remove things from other mods then I don't think it will be a problem

It can't be every mod that's a problem.

Apparently, no mods can still be a problem.

Just wanted to add another vote for the renaming of the XML folder to LMX. I tried to install and it would crash on the initial load screen but after renaming the xml folder in the games data foulder and a second install of the mod then it worked. I haven't gone into a game yet and tried that out but at least it starts now lol. Also might want to warn people that the RAW mod does install stuff to their default data folder so they may want to check this step if they also have the RAW mod installed.

FYI, I had this problem on a brand new install of EaW/FoC, however vanilla also wouldn't work, and still doesn't somehow.
As far as I could tell, it was because I was using the Gold pack and assumed it was patched to 1.1 automatically. Once I got the patch and re-applied the no-cd, (Bought the game three times, I feel entitled) PR has worked. Don't know why vanilla hasn't ever worked.

<DevXen> Today I was at the store and saw a Darth Vader action figure that said "Choking Hazard." It was great.

I just edited the stack dump out of your report, we can't use it since we don't have the original debug info for the game.

Anyway, here's how the PR folder should look on 64bit Win 7 with the compatibility patch installed for the mod:

Are you sure it's freezing? Our galactic conquests take a while to load. Try waiting for five minutes or so, or try Core Worlds since it loads the fastest.

I am having the issue where I cannot launch the mod as well. I have no previous mods installed. I cannot launch FOC without the came crashing immediately crashing. I dowloaded the RAM fix which corrected this problem, then tried installing PR again. The game would get to the menu screen then crash. Then I downloaded the compatability mod, which then caused the game to crash immediately again.

Have you checked the screens I posted above showing all the correct folders for FoC files?

Also, did you apply the 1.1 patch?
