Hello to all , some time ago I downloaded a mod called "The History of Ages " v3 , which can be downloaded here : http://forum.lotrgam...=160

I noticed , despise the promises , they did not remove the stoeln content , mostly aroun the Dwarves . It seems their Erebor Barracks or so is from TDH ; I'm even pretty sure they didn't remove the RJ stuff .

I know my topic can't be very useful , but if you se or want to download that mod , just don't do it . I hate stealing or plagiarism .

1.Copy Files _Thoadata.big , _Thoabasic.big , _Thoa_Sounds.big , _Thoaother.big and paste them to you ROTWK Game.
2.Copy Files from EnglishVersion folder (thoaassetru.big and Maps) and paste them into your ApplicationData,example:"C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files".При этом может возникнуть проблема.Папка "Application Data"
3.Copy shortcut from EnglishVersion folder and write the way in properties,example "D:\The Lord of the Rings - The Rise of the Witch-King\EP1\lotrbfme2ep1.exe" -mod thoaasseten.big

I downloaded version 1.2 and did find some of RJ's stuff as well as the RA textures and even some of my old shitty button images.

If you contacted some of the ModDB administrators, you may be able to get them un-hosted from the site. This has been an ongoing issue, so I'd image that they'd be willing to take real action at this point. It wouldn't fix the issue, but at least it would make it harder for them to distribute what they steal.

Yeah, if you really care about it, you can demand ModDB take down the profile or at least the mod files.

How do you do that? You can click the "report a mod" function on Moddb, but it states that they will not do anything unless a number of people make a report. Plus, moddb staff really are not going to research what is and is not stolen.

The copyright owner can point out what exactly infringes his rights and send them an e-mail. If they ignore these request they'll find themselves in court sooner or later, so I would be surprised if they did.
