Located in Western Rohan this area is home to men of both Rohirric and Dunlending descent.

The area is known for it's long rustling grasslands and fertile riverside.

This map has both open spaces for cavalry battles and 2 choke points at the bridges.

A 2 player camp map with 6 Watch Towers and 5 Economy plots and 2 Expansions.

This map is very balanced and shares some similarities with the Fords of Isen map.

When making this map I wanted to invoke the lush grasslands I visualised when reading the book instead of the more barren looking EA made maps.

While at the same time being balanced and offering more for cavalry players.

I think that map will be very intersting to play with ! I can't wait to crush Dulendings or Isengard's infantry with my Eoreds (:

Out of interest, any reasons why there are a couple of half-towers? Otherwise, love it.

The Half-Towers are the Watchtower plots (I was lazy when first making them and the idea stuck).

I really like the tall grass, but the river looks a bit too brown.

I like the brown river, makes it look like there has been a lot of rain recently.

Yes, we have brown rivers in Australia.

I just noticed those blue birds. I remember why I love mapping, all that discovery.

It wasn't really the fact that the river was brown that bugged me, more just the shade of brown. It just seems a bit too pale, and too opaque although that very well could just be the screenshot.

Brown river, no problem. I have to say though that I miss a better waterbank(?) where the brigde is, or rather, the lower part in picture 4, as opposed to the upper part. The grass\rocks that goes into the river without a 'border' doesn't look good in my eyes.

And I don't think the Watchtower plots look good either, they look very lazily done ( :p ), and they're missing a 'base'. And due to that said laziness, the windows on the first floor just look out of place to me.
