Hey, so I decided to get Rad's guild division kicked off with a Planet Side 2 guild. As ALL of you should know, Planet Side 2 is a FPS MMO in massive faction-based maps with loads of class / vehicular customization and colossal wars. And best of all... it's free to friggin' play. I'll be obsessed with it for years, and we should get involved, preferably with some competitive spirit around here.

Good man, Ken. What I hope to achieve is enough people interested to start 2 clans. It'll get Rad's division in a competitive state (which should be the ultimate goal) and it'll be crap loads funner.

That has only just gotten into beta hasn't it?

It's been in beta since the summer. Like I said, it'll officially be out with account wipes in November 20. Just in time for Thanks Giving.

Looks pretty cool actually, a lot like Frontlines: Fuel of War which was totally underrated.

Actually... yea. Sort of like Fuel Wars. In comparison, Planetside can handle more players while supported by bigger maps. It focuses more on faction teamwork objectives as well. It's got classes similar to FW, but much more customization. That's sort of the business model for PS... getting access to your class traits and weapon / vehicular parts as well as cosmetic crap. Bad part is, no delicious destructible terrain.

But no real need to sign up for the beta at this point. It comes out exactly in one week.

Hmmm.... That sounds interesting...
NC is like US with steroids, TR is somewhat like China, and VC is like a mix between FutureTech and Nod.

Are you sure about VC? I feel that TR could be fun for team play.
I mean, not that we wont all go like Rambo or LeroyJenkins, but...

Vanu are monsters when it comes to close-range since their weapons have massive DPS with that drop-off disadvantage to them. If you're a team of shot-gunning invisible jerks, then the planet is yours. Friggin' Ken... making me second guess myself. Alright, if you can give me a better reason why TR's invigilators are better, then I'll join them. My patriotism is weak anyway. Then I'll Leroy Jenkins the crap out of everyone with you.

Would you rather go Rambo/Leeroy with some high-tech stuff or with some good'n old poor MG just for the sake of fun?
I'd go with the poor MG. High Tech doesn't suit, in my opinion the type of gameplay we're aiming for. We must be crazy. Damn crazy.

The VS is purple. That is already enough argument against them.

Ohhhhhhh... maybe. I hope more people get interested and want Vanu to rule their lives so we can have the multiple guilds. TR looks dull, but they do have better snipers, if I get the urge to start hunting MG rats.
