Just wanted to show you the new FX for EarthQuake in Moria faction's Spell Book... <^_^
- Added unused large chunks of rock, wobbling in the ground.
- Added loads of lava, fire and smoke.
- Prolongued the cracks (decal)

Sporadic explosions start the earthquake, rocks rise up while lava shoots up in the air, fire turns to thick smoke, while even more rocks wobble around. Shockwaves deliver the damage visualy and cracks spead across "ground zero" while rocks go away and dust settles. Small "fountais" of lava die slowly while finally the cracks fade away... This power is the most devastating in Moria faction, and it wil kill anything on the ground while destroying most lesser structures. I find it rather fitting considering the scenes in LotR when the fellowship flees while Moria tumbles apart above and beneath them... =)

:thumbsupxd:

I wonder what the shockwaves will look like? :) The screenshot reminds me of the destructive power of the ion cannon in CnC3.

Yeah. Probably because of fraps. Recording uses a lot of resources. I usually only get intermittent lag, usually when a building is constructing. Most of the time its either the wolf den or fissure. Probably doesnt help im running 16x anti aliasing.
