Yes. Someone give me a few portraits to do, and I'll start..... Just tell me what unit.

If you actually want to do this, I think making Mirkwood functional should be the top priority.  They need buildings

And the maps need to be connected in the Living world. And possibly the campaign properly connected aswell.

Are we really serious on this??? ;p

The thing is, for Mirkwood, we barely have any active modellers left...

Hmmm, yeah. Mirkwood functioned well as a reinforcement-only minifaction. But we have Desolation of Smaug at the end of this year which will show the Mirkwood Elvish Kingdom. The palace will be made out of the branches of trees, if you have seen the tree statues in the concept art for Rivendell it is like that.

Well put together a list and we'll prioritise things.

We should try and avoid adding new art unless it's absolutely necessary.

There are some still some massive problems with the idea. RJ-mod had a lot of contributors. I don't think you can do this.

TEA had a detailed plan done, it was just about getting it done, along with balance. Does RJ have the same plan?

I don't like the idea for RJ to be a community project. Who would contribute? And don't say "the community", because we all know that for this to succeed the mod will in reality need a coder who works on the mod as if it was his own. It's too big not to. You already have 23 other projects Rad, so I wouldn't recommend you.

Then again, RJ is a popular mod and it's re-activity could do us some good.

It's true we will have to settle on a main coder but for now we need to know what needs fixing then we can sort of who does what.

Well, for one, many portraits were not done, and said "WIP" on them. I guess that counts as something to change?

Portraits are really a minor thing in terms of gameplay.  Mirkwood being a playable faction was really the last major thing we wanted to get done before focusing on getting the living world map and campaign functional, and fine-tuning balance.

Come one people if this is going to be the next Community Project we need a bug list to work from.

I'll create a topic in here just post your bugs there.

Keep portraits in a separate list since they are lower priority.

If Mirkwood is pretty much unfinished and needs new assets then it should be skipped.

http://forums.revora...06-bug-reports/

There was the only bug report topic I could find.  But I mean, I think the only thing worth doing a major release for would be if Mirkwood got buildings or we fixed the bugged out elven missions in the campaign.

I had another idea for a possible CoPro project, updating old mods to 1.03 (or even 1.04 or 1.05) this would include mods like Rise of Rome, Grim's Hero mod basically the really old school mods.

Fixing any potential clashes between the patches and the mods so that these older mods can still be enjoyed.

I already did this for Vapula's hero mod. It's an easy thing to do really, not really a "community" effort.

I had an idea (as I do).

How about we do a BFME reskin mod, it's been mentioned in the past but it's simple we reskin the game with donations without changing the game's mechanics.

This could be added to the patches or something, basically a simple facelift.

I'd be willing to donate some LWR stuff towards the cause.

Yes. I don't like the art in BFME2 because it's so varied.
