I've gotten the impression the market for coders is looking up, so I decided I'd put out a call to see if anybody was interested.
Now, SaF is already in alpha phase, and so far as I can tell, the coding is clean and structured. This means that the bulk of the work will be:
- replacing outdated art and adding a handful of new units and structures
- replacing animation sets (I'm using several RotWK sets)
- adding 2d art
- coding in damage states and textures
- finishing the spellbook (the more annoying powers are already complete)
- adding heroes plus hero powers
The Gundabad faction is already fully in place. You will not have to fiddle (much) with creating bases.
Please note that there is a pretty solid faction plan already in place. Coding for SaF is not about faction design/ideas, though I am always open to suggestions.
As far as I can tell, nothing in the design doc is above moderate to early advanced coding level.
I work through a well-kept Dropbox folder, where I deposit finished art and to-do lists. I will provide you with properly exported w3d files + .dds textures
This isn't a long-term project, with dedication it can be done within a few months.
