With so many new faces joining our community, I thought it'd be good to create a topic where people can introduce themselves.

So if you are new, go ahead and post something about yourself, why you still play BFME, et cetera.

It's great to see you all joining :)

My name is Mathijs, I've been playing and modding BFME1 ever since it first came out. I was crushed when EA announced they were closing down online support. Once Phil told me he was working on reviving it, I did everything I could to help out.

Tell me something about yourselves!

To make it interesting everyone should introduce themselves in the form of bad "parent" rap. :p

For example "my name is Raddy G and I'm here to say, T3A admin is what I'm here to say".

Poetry form:

I am an environmental designer

That is looking forward to players deciding

The fate of Middle-earth on maps that I have created.

I am not that great of a game player

(In 2v2s I would prefer to be safe hiding).

I cannot wait for the swords that drink blood to be sated

On the blood of our enemies.

Hi I'm FrancescoNL,

I got bfme2 for my birthday years ago, but never played it online. 4 years ago I was searching for a way to play it on lan without everyone having to buy it, but unfortunately I never found a way.

This summer holiday I thought I would try it again, 'cause I was bored of playing aoe3 and wanted to do another rts. After an hour searching on youtube I came across a comment from forshire who had posted a link to his blog. That's how I joined the fb community, later the gamereplays forums and now I'm here on t3a too :)

Oh and I just played my first mp bfme ever! (might upload it later)

ps: Mathijs, ik snap eindelijk wat t3a te maken had met phil die admin werd van de fb groep xD

I am bfme1 player and have played since 2009-2011,

And become most famous name in this game.
I am not a patient person, as you know,
I am not a good or bad person,

who i am is depends on how you come to me.

If you say to me "hello", i would reply as hello dude!

If you say to me "fuck you", probably i would fuck you twice instead of once.

I cant change myself this is what i am.

Well i dont know how to rap, sorry :)

Hello all! I'm crazykidsbite and I'm new to the pc version of BFME the only RTS i've played on LOTR was BFME II on 360 and so i know somethings but not really. So I'm really hoping that i can learn in this game. And another thing is that I can't really find this game on a cloud download and I've looked on ebay and the games are over priced so I'm wondering if this could work with pirated? And is there a teamspeak?

Yes, the server works with pirated versions (so long as the game.dat isn't heavily edited). You might also want to look into getting BFME from here: http://forshire.blog.../downloads.html and manually restoring the Online menu by following this tutorial: http://forums.revora...rsary-editions/

You will still need a serial key, but those are easy enough to find online.

If you experience difficulties installing/getting online, we can help you out (but please do carefully read our instructions first).

Good luck and I hope to see you online soon :)
