modified games

There need to be 3 'doors' openend in order for this old game to work properly.

  1. Anti-virus
  2. (windows)Firewall
  3. Router

I suggest you to go through these 2 steps first:

Hi there,

I have a question about modified game's.

I have modified my INI files.

Does this in any way effect Online?

If it does... will I be able to play with others that didn't modify there INI files?

Thank you in advance :)

It doesn't affect online in general. However, you will only be able to play against people who have your exact same version of the INIs or you'll get a "different version" error.

That's why modders typically use the -mod command or custom launcher set up.

If by that you mean to keep the originals untouched so you have the ability to run the vanilla without compatibility problems, then yes.

yes, when the other player starts the game... it starts connecting... with the big black box in the middle of the screen... but then when its about to start... mine says... (idk what it says exactly) but its something with firewall... but i turned that off already

and ingame it shows a green boll next to my name so i guess it has to be fine but it isnt :(

Thank you m8 :D

I opened the port and added the options and now when i run the portchecker it says that port 16000 is open :D

I hope all my issues are fixed now and that I can play online this evening with all the other people :]

Hope this will work!
