Apparently the game suppose to have an tutorial mission which takes place at mt doom where they just like in the movie fight vs Sauron.

Has anyone looked into recreating this. I thought I'd share this.

Found under Object MordorSauron
;  Sauron doesn't get leadership, makes the tutorial level look bad.
Found in gondorcampaign.ini
;////////////////////////////
;// Last Alliance
;////////////////////////////
Region Last Alliance
  MapName    = "MAP GOOD Last Alliance"
  MissionObjectiveTag = SCRIPT:MGIsengard_missionobjective02
  MissionObjectiveTag = SCRIPT:MGIsengard_missionobjective01
End
Following found under gamedata.ini (initially for the battle school UI I pressume)
TutorialMap = "maps\MAP GOOD Last Alliance\MAP GOOD Last Alliance.map"
  TutorialLoadMovie = Good_BattleLastAlliance_Intro
  TutorialObjective = SCRIPT:GOODLASTALLIANCETextString_27
These textstrings can be found under lotr.str

Should be pretty easy to recreate, but is it worth doing?  I feel like most people playing these days aren't really in need of a tutorial, heh.

It could be recreated as an advanced tutorial, with the focus on micromanaging.

Or as a new mission map, which is always very enjoyable :D.

I mean, a Last Alliance battle? Left out?! Are they insane??

Could be added to the campaign where they can choose between the tutorial or the Moria (initial) campaign mission.

The map isn't even there. One of us could make it however.

The map is there, it's probably the Mount Doom map, only the scripting isn't there.

It doesn't look too much like Mt. Doom, especially because on the Mount Doom map you can't even see the Mt. Doom, while in the tutorial level, you can.

Yes you can see Mount doom! Last time I opened it with WB you can see it on the right side of the map, though it's smaer than it should be.

Second, how do you know you can see Mt.doom in the tutorial map? Do you have the tutorial map? I would veeerry much like to get my hands on that :p

My best guess is that it was a different map just like in the intro cinematic...
Take a look at 0:34 , thats how it must of looked like.

However a clone of mt doom could work as well perhaps sizing the map a little and some adaptations for an improved attmosphere.
