Just started playing here, and most of the community is really helpful and friendly!

But theres one player called 'BadPlayer', this guy has really ruined alot of games, he constantly swares and anoys people in the chat and gets angry at newerplayers.

I have seen this with not only myself, but he has also had a go at other new members as well to the extent somewill not play in the same game as him.Some players have to acknowlge, that newer members cannot be experts at an instant, and have a little patience while they learn the ropes.

If anyone else has had issues with BadPlayer please say so, Because his behaviour really discourages a group of people having fun.

For future reference, however, it would be best if you took screenshots of behaviour you feel crosses the line.

Yes. I've also encountered him several times. He's extremely abusive for aboslutely no reason.

After encountering him several times I now refuse to play with or against him alltogether.

 

He's insulted me, been an asshole to Graeyundas, and I've heard from several others (whose names I will not mention on a public forum without their permission) that they have had similar experiences.

Mathijs, this is the player that inspired me to make the following topic: http://forums.revora...524-new-players, I'm not one for banning or even warning, however with such a small community justme777 should be made to apologise to those he has offended, I know of 5 people, including myself who will not play with him.

 

Just to add, I have been rude to him in return, and said he should apologise, once he has I'm happy to forgive and forget until then I'm sure he will continue to offend, and many more topics like this pop up.

Ok. I just went online and told him to check his PM. He didn't understand, so I told him he was under investigation for toxic behaviour, after which he told me that he was the one getting flamed.

 

I am inclined to believe your side of the story here (especially because Easily agrees). However, in the future, please take screenshots of toxic behaviour if you're planning to report. I can go through the server logs to verify these things, but those logs are *huge* and it would take more time than I am willing to spend.

No need, as mentioned I was rude to him, but I'm not willing to be nice to someone who is ill-deserved.

 

I don't see this as a big issue as in banning, thats just extreme... he simply needs to apologise.

All anyone under investigation needs to do is immediately stop any toxic behaviour. If this demand is not met, we will resort to a temporary ban.

 

Note that in order for a user to be under investigation, the behaviour has to be quite prolific. We believe a certain amount of abuse can and should be shrugged off. In this case, however, I think the line's been obviously crossed.

I have been in contact with BadPlayer and though he denies the allegations, he's told me he will (continue) to behave properly.

 

That's good enough for me. If in the future you encounter further toxic behaviour, please report with screenshots and the exact date and time it happened.
